About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

I would look over the messages and you can see my issue. I check if you had stock and whether your delivery times were held up over holiday season. Answer was yes we have stock and no delay to 5 day delivery. Then look at the automatic emails you sent me. A month without a car. Not sure what else I could have done before I handed over my credit card details To you. I got done. You have no idea the knock on effects from me taking your guys word for it. I checked by calling and still got done. Look at your auto email to me.

I ordered a part for my roof racks, I did express postage and it still didn't dispatch until atleast 1 whole week later as they didnt have it in stock, they shouldn't advertise they have stuff in stock if they don't

Mid February now and still waiting on parts ordered in September last year No one ever returns calls or answers emails Your customer relations is non responsive or non existent Yet I get emails on every show you are going to Very disappointed, will probably sell my T4 now and bye some thing from a company that has after sales service which track clearly don’t.

Where to start! Product supplied did not fit my car. Spent a week in panel repairs sorting it out and getting from another supplier. Spent hours on customer support lines trying to sort refund for wrong part. Still not resolved. In a nutshell, bad initial advice, woeful customer service. Hopeless support. Will never ever shop at Outdoor Epuipment again.

Was sent all the wrong fitting items. Seat covers did not fit a Dmax 21 and the dash mate is too big and does not fit either.

From placing the phone order and getting that wrong to getting sold second-hand stuff that was rejected for return/exchange I will not buy from them again.

Terrible. Do not answer phone. Do not return voicemail. Do not reply to email and then they cancel order. Could they be any worse? ZERO stars.

2 months has passed and I still haven’t received my item , tried calling both Aramex and outback equipment and they still can’t tell me when it’s going to be delivered

Product knowledge is poor, I had to figure out which spacer I needed to fit these legs listed as vortex to vortex. Unable to help but perfectly happy to fill my email with daily spam

Ordered rhino rack bars for fuso canter at Black Friday sales was told over the phone that they were not in stock (which is fine) and that outback equipment would receive them in a week. Rang back wk of Christmas bars still not in stock and would receive an email with updated delivery time. Waited a week still no email, rang back still no estimated time so cancelled order. Never had an issue before with outback equipment. Totally understand that they are not common and no stock which is not your fault. But to be told outback would receive in a week (waited a month) and I would be notified via email and not happen is the disappointing part.

Terrible terrible terrible. After contacting them 4 times over the space of 3 or 4 weeks. I still don’t have an answer of when my order will be shipped and completed. There was no message in the website explaining a delay in stock arriving. They said the item was in stock. It’s now been 5 weeks since o placed my order and I still have no idea of when I’ll receive my stuff. Buyers beware!

"Reviews help you become a better business"? This survey states... you want my review? well listen to your customers and check your reviews! You could start by having things 'in stock' or communicate with your customers to let them know items are out of stock. Your communication is HORRIBLE! I paid $19 express shipping for my order to arrive 17 days after I placed my order. Your company is an ABSOLUTE JOKE! The reviews speak for itself
