About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“shipping is absolutely shocking. placed an order 02/03/26. recieved half an order, after waiting 3 weeks, now been informed the other half it will not even be dispatched until 05/04/26 from they're warehouse. let alone then be shipped to address review is not for actual products below.”

“Their ordering system allowed me to order 2 of the same item when they only had 1 in stock. It has been over a month now and they still have not received the second item. Very poor service.”

“I had to drive to the dispatch centre at Acacia Ridge to receive an online delivery order that was needed urgently. Had to wait out the front for close to an hour. I’m pretty certain they were all stock items.”

“Unfortunately our 1st order didn't leave Archerfield. We emailed to have it checked and no record was found. We had it resent a 2nd time and it's been in Archerfield again all of last week. We have sent another email to ask for it to be followed up. We believe you have a great business but the must be an issue with dispatch.”

“I purchased a RT2500 trolley and have found it is very good, shifts my caravan and boat with ease. I had a little problem with the wrong parts being supplied but the staff at Outback Equipment where on the ball and got it sorted out asap”

“Bought a 50l water tank, overall it isn't to bad at all. The problem I came across is how to fill it when it is mounted under the tray of a ute. I have not been able to match the thread for the hole to adapt for a water inlet. (Looks like the inside square edged thread for polly pipe conections but an odd size).The staff were excellent when I enquired about it but unfortunatley none of the their suggestions worked.”
