About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“Price was competitive, Communication was very poor after my order "usally ships in 7 days" was 3 weeks late, All I expect is some clear and accurate updates when there is a delay and not to have to chase up the supplier looking for one”

“I purchased the awning anti flap kit and bag. This is my second kit and I love it. The cheap brand kit that came with my electric awning was useless. After some mods I made the Aussie Traveller fit and it works awesome. The new three piece system is definitely lighter, yet still as strong.”

“Really happy with my purchase of the ARB Brushless Twin Compressor and Aluminium Tank. Outback Equipment made the transaction seamless. The gear is absolute quality—the digital gauge and hose reel make airing up so much easier. If you want high-end 12V gear with professional service, these guys are the go-to”
