About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“Have use Outback Equipment a few times now, price is always competitive and ounter service is polite with staff knowing their stuff. Buy online and the order is promptly seen to. Would definately recommend.”

“I bought a Topargee water gauge. One of the best bits of equipment I have bought. It measures water usage very accurately. Much better than the gauge installed in my van. Very happy.”

“I ordered, by phone porta pac for my motor home.The sales person was very pleasant and suggested a bulk order would be cheaper for me. The transaction was $170. All done. I immediately received an email that there was a 5 day delay! A week later same issue. 4 weeks passed and i was given the runaround. I eventually received it after 6 weeks! Outback equipment had my money gaining interest on the short term money market!!!! The salesgirl must have been aware that the item was not in stock and i should have been notified of this issue!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!! Very very disappointing.”
