About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“Purchased spreader bars on the 26th of Febuary, still dont have them and its the end of March and have emailed them twice and had no responce :-( Will have to use the caravan at easter without them now”

“Ordered a camp chair before Christmas for my wife. She absolutely raved about how good and comfortable it was as well as the fact that it folds up and packs away compactly. As a result I ordered a second chair for myself. My second order was delayed because it had to be back ordered and the communication was not as good as it could have been. Whilst waiting the sale price was dropped. I asked and received the difference between the sale price and what I paid.”

“Outback Equipment have a great range of gear at competitive prices, however their delivery times are extremely poor. Consistently just over 2 weeks from placing an order. IMO this is miles off the pace and so I will no longer use them. A shame really.”

“Prices are very competitive but after ordering a product that was showed to be shipped within 5 days, I was contacted after 7 days to inform me the item was still 3.5 weeks away from even getting to the warehouse.”

“Been waiting for my order for 16 days now , no one answer the phone and three days now no response to my email enquires as to tracking details or my order status. Extremely disappointed. I’m leaving on a holiday in seven days time so looking a lot like I won’t have any idea what is happening with my goods 👎”
