About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“I’ve purchased multiple items from outback equipment and found there service excellent, we had one warranty issue with a water pump which was fixed quickly and without fuss.”

“I have bought quite a bit of stuff over the last 12 months, all of it has been top quality. I did have a problem with one item however, but Outback Equipment quickly replaced it with a new item within a week.”

“Ordered an item with express postage, was noted as in stock. Followed up a week later & was told it wasn’t in stock and would be shipped shortly (12 days after order). 15 days after order followed up and was told it wasn’t delayed again, with no firm ETA. Only getting 3 stars as Mitch in the warehouse honest and processed a refund for me quickly (at day 19), which I appreciated.”
