About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

Terrible experience. Goods were “lost in transit” so after waiting for the goods for over a month the order was cancelled and I was given a refund! Never again!

Purchased fridge vent shade, the rubber screw insert was not long enough,and also will not sit in position correctly

Product was supplied slightly damaged & no screws to install item to caravan. Told Outback about this & their response was "We do appreciate your feedback and will ensure we pass it on. Thanks for taking the time to get back in touch. If there is anything we can do in the future we are here for you."

Great experience with Outback equipment, good communication to assist with enquiry with product ordered as not what was described. They checked product and offered a full refund which was greatly appreciated. Their customer service and communication was fantastic I wouldn’t hesitate ordering with Outback equipment in the future

Courier let down the delivery side of the process. Took 2 calls to get it delivered. The bigger first package arrived days before the smaller one ordered on same day?

Hello , by accident I ordered the same item twice, I’ve been waiting weeks to refund or use money for something else , I filled out form with problem and contact details and sent it in , I have photo to confirm form arrived, I’ve rang and spoken to customer service and told to wait, it’s been weeks and nothing? That’s all the feedback I have

I have purchased a lot of items (thousands of $$) from Outback Equip over the last year - with generally good service and quick delivery. In the last month or so this has changed. Ordered approx $1500 worth of stuff on two orders in the last month and both went AWOL. OE customer service response has been woeful. Best they could offer was its been dispatched. One order from 21st Jan with express delivery to Tas still AWOL. OE say it was dispatched - Aust Post say it was never collected ?? Still got a lot of stuff to buy for our lap - now looking at other vendors.
