About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“I purchased a RT2500 trolley and have found it is very good, shifts my caravan and boat with ease. I had a little problem with the wrong parts being supplied but the staff at Outback Equipment where on the ball and got it sorted out asap”

“Great range of items and good customer service when calling to dicuss deliveries. Would have given 5 if you could edit orders or combine shipping, especially when delays due to out of stock items delayed all our orders”

“Bought a 50l water tank, overall it isn't to bad at all. The problem I came across is how to fill it when it is mounted under the tray of a ute. I have not been able to match the thread for the hole to adapt for a water inlet. (Looks like the inside square edged thread for polly pipe conections but an odd size).The staff were excellent when I enquired about it but unfortunatley none of the their suggestions worked.”

“When I ordered the lock there was no mention it wasn’t in stock. I have been advised that it won’t arrive until the end of March which is in acceptable”

“Don't waste your time with this company. website said 7 days to ship has been over a month. endless calls to find out what's going on. it's coming they say well it's not good enough Outback Equipment. sort your S**t out. I have spent thousands with you over the years and this is a recurring thing well that's it from me you won't see another order from me again.”

“I purchased a Black Jack Mini from Outback Equip., fantastic special price on the product, the order process was easy, there were many payment options and the freight was free. Great deal. It took 10 days to pick the items from their warehourse and Fast Freight delivered in 2 days. Why does it take 10 days prepare the package for delivery?”
