About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“Was waiting on the back order for the Tuff Terrain V4 compressor, and was SOOOO worth the wait! This thing is a beast! Shipped to the door, tracking was spot on and the condition was excellent! Thank you team - big plans coming up in the very near future and this thing will be a workhorse! Couldn't be happier.”

“My order took over a month to come. When it did arrive the product is not what was advertised. I am still waiting on a response from the customer team via email about this issue and have no way of calling anyone as the phones are turned off.”

“Cant trust them to deliver a $5 item , so would not use them for anything that more money , nope dont recomend , cant see me using them again , dont ask my opion unless you want my honest answer”

“I ordered product for a trip in January. After many inquries it became obivious that Outback Equipment advertise and sell product they do'nt even have in store or warehouse. I recieved it in March after the ship had landed.”

“We purchased the 270 plus awning full wall kit and are very happy with the product. We didn’t use the rear panel as we cook out of the tail gate are of the car. Keeps things warm and dry, tge quality of tge canvas is really good and tge small vinyl return on the floor is great. We actually turn the floor return outside which helps to divert tge water away and keeps the floor area reasonably dry.”
