About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“I have purchased many items from Outback Equipment. They've got a fantastic range to choose from and the pricing is very competitive. I often find myself combing through the website store just to see what's new and what's on special. I'll definitely be a repeat customer. “Took a while to be delivered as where out of stock. I was unable to install seem to be smaller I could see daylight in opperset corners have to get a caravan repairer to install”

“Hopeless. Order took weeks to dispatch despite all items listed as in stock. Customer support slow to respond, eventually refunded part of the order but didn't reimburse for the shipping component. Other items arrived long after the trip they were bought for.”

“Was waiting on the back order for the Tuff Terrain V4 compressor, and was SOOOO worth the wait! This thing is a beast! Shipped to the door, tracking was spot on and the condition was excellent! “My order took over a month to come. When it did arrive the product is not what was advertised. I am still waiting on a response from the customer team via email about this issue and have no way of calling anyone as the phones are turned off.”
