About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Company should give refunds when incorrect battery supplied for maglite and correct battery not available. Shouldn't be forced to use in store credit on unwanted products. This will obviously affect my future use of your services as don't want in store credits again.pity as would have gone with your company otherwise Regards Tomas ps next question asked how long it took to gain refund is this possible as wasn't advised this

I take ages to respond. All phone numbers unattended. Received the same faulty item back after waiting for the "replacement delivery" I will be lucky to get what I paid for??? After this Martyrium is over, I will never ever look at this "company" Special thanks to Joel.

Took longer than stated (3 days) to pack and send. Parts didn’t turn up in time. Good website though.

Not happy. Tolerances for all deflators were different, ranging between 2-5psi. Had to set them with the aid of a compressor which defeats the point of being able to adjust them on the fly. Also found they didn’t clip on/off very well and one of them was starting to damage the thread as the button was too stiff . Returned them and swapped them for the Campboss deflators which are great and all within 1 psi tolerance and can be set based on their psi markings.

Terrible service shown in stock and then they ahd no stock. Then sent out wrong parts finally got through to be told right parts to be sent out that week two weeks later still not sent then told I had to return wrong parts before they would send correct parts. No follow up on emails still haven't received parts I played for over a month ago. Will never use this company again or recommend to anyone.

Rather unpleasent experience from the beginning to still not yet having resolution. I would strongly advise any future customer to not waste their time considering spending any money with this company.

I needed to cancel my order as my travel plans had changed and I would not be able to pick the order up. Even though our back equipment had not dispatched my order they refused to cancel the order. I would be extremely reluctant to ever purchase from outback equipment again and I have told many of my friends and acquaintances about my experience. Very unhappy

Terrible service, I’ve order twice from you guys and the waiting times are ridiculous for delivery’s. Also I’ve had to chance up my own tracking number every time I order because you guys do not provide them without asking for them. You estimated times for delivers chart it’s just not correct one bit. It was a estimate of 6 days for me to revived my package. It has been over 14 days and had only just received a tracking number the other day after I had actually ask for them.

Poor performance, bought items instock only to be told there not, took over 2 weeks to get instock items, paid extra for express, even after the wait no offer to refund the extra for express, poor communcation nothing done till comments to online fourms. At this stage would recommend everyone to avoid
