About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

After sales service very slow to poor with regards to some sort of resolution in regards to faulty purchase a month ago even though I contacted them asap. Still waiting.

I needed to cancel my order as my travel plans had changed and I would not be able to pick the order up. Even though our back equipment had not dispatched my order they refused to cancel the order. I would be extremely reluctant to ever purchase from outback equipment again and I have told many of my friends and acquaintances about my experience. Very unhappy

Terrible service, I’ve order twice from you guys and the waiting times are ridiculous for delivery’s. Also I’ve had to chance up my own tracking number every time I order because you guys do not provide them without asking for them. You estimated times for delivers chart it’s just not correct one bit. It was a estimate of 6 days for me to revived my package. It has been over 14 days and had only just received a tracking number the other day after I had actually ask for them.

Poor performance, bought items instock only to be told there not, took over 2 weeks to get instock items, paid extra for express, even after the wait no offer to refund the extra for express, poor communcation nothing done till comments to online fourms. At this stage would recommend everyone to avoid

Jockey wheel not accuraely described. It was not a 'standard' size so it was not fit for the purpose purchased. They would not give me a refund, offered store credit. Apparently their terms and conditions do not need to meet ACCC guidelines. Too hard to get 20kg unit back.

Didn’t ship items for multiple business days despite paying their extravagant express shipping price, upon contacting them, customer service was disgusting. Never again!!!

The product did not fit my vehicle as it stated it would on the website. This was a few weeks ago and have still not resolved the issue.

Worst refund policy ever. You buy a product that doesn't end up meeting your needs due to undisclosed manufacturer information and get told only credit refund when I only purchased from you cause you guys had it in stock.

Hopeless. Ordered Redarc tow pro, took them 3 weeks to tell me they didn't have stock. Went to my local repco shop and had it the next day. Complete joke, will never use them again. There is no shortage of this stock.

Ordered a yellow lanolin brand manual pressure spray which arrived broken. Was informed that this was referred back to the manufacturer for replacement. It is over a month later and haven’t heard a thing. DO NOT BUY A LANOLIN brand manual pump sprayer!!!

Received a product that was faulty. Emailed them and kept getting passed on to someone else before someone tried to say there was nothing wrong with it. Got in touch with the manufacturer and they agreed they were faulty and sent a new set without any issues.

I got the quick connect trye deflators, used them 4 days later on my car for the first time, they broke and let all the air put of my tyres

If an item is not in stock , this should be mentioned when ordering or on the website , so we know before hand . I order an item 3 weeks ago for my Easter trip and now I’m told it will not be delivered to after Easter .

I checked three times with the staff at Outback Equipment when my order was going to be delivered as I was going away and they didn’t know what had been delivered from Kaon in this computer age of tracking deliveries. Even one day before I was going away they couldn’t work out that it was too late to make the delivery. So disappointed in the companies staff training as have had no problems with Bunnings, BCF, Myer. David Jones, Qantas, Amazon or Catch. Don’t know if it was delivered as I’m holiday

Received 1 item and then never received the other well over a month called 3 times to sort it out then never received shipping information or updates to when item was arriving or much of an apology or anything, and yes checked all junk folders and inbox

Part did not work when it arrived It's been 13 days since we contacted Outback Equipment for a refund. Have heard nothing. Not a great experience.
