About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

A little disappointed with my purchase but no fault of yours. The Barrel and Key are to narrow for the lock in my unit and unfortunately there are no part numbers on either the one ordered or the old one that is jammed. The diameter of the barrel of the one I require is 14mm ( the one received 12mm) and the head is 18.5mm diameter (the one received is 15.5mm) Otherwise the measurements of length is the same on bot Do you have the larger one and if so what is the cost please.

Wrong items were sent to me then the onus was left on me to get the wrong parcel to auspost before they would send me the correct items which were already paid for. Luckily i wasnt in desperate need of my items. I will say their communication was good.

The hose connected to the Whale caravan connection is of such poor quality that it blew a hole in it at the first caravan park we stayed in. I have therefore reduced that hose & connected another prv at the tap which works fine.

Ordered the product. Got a call from Outback Equipment two days later saying shipment would be delayed by a couple of days. A month later I called to enquire about the product and was told it wasd out of stock. Order cancelled, won't be back.

Recently purchased tallboy antenna from you it was missing mounting brackets after contacting you it was stated these brackets would be sent direct from Camac in approximately 10 says.SURPRISE they have not arrived.Thats why I give you a minus.

starting with I purchased a fire Extinguisher over 5 months ago and still have not received the product ... also I Purchased a set of tyer Deflaters 8 weeks ago ... still have not received that item either... will not be buying from this company again nouthing but issues...

Rock lights came all out of the packaging and put together and didn’t work at all, so they went in the bin and I wasted good bit of money. Cheers

Mirrors supplied were incorrect which I understand can happen, these were ordered on 30th December. Spoke to Outback, incorrect mirrors were returned and were received by Outback on 19th January. Spoke to Outback on the 24th January, new mirrors had not been ordered. Had to cancel the order on the 31st January as the correct mirrors still had not been ordered. Still waiting for my refund.

Well this was a Sh!#show, I ordered a propguard and they sent the smaller size. First they did not believe me and so I had to send a photo of the incorrect item. Then I had to return it before I could get the correct one sent out. I informed them this was needed urgently and was told the correct propguard was in stock and ready to send. But when I sent back the wrong one they then said it would now be a few week wait for the propguard I ordered, the lady that called would not stop talking over me and when I told her to please stop interrupting me she ended the call. I was not given options for refund and have to wait for the stock to arrive. This was their mistake but all the while I felt with this I was made out to be the one in the wrong. As a commercial vessel operator this sort of unreliable service is unacceptable.

your products etc are ok however you insist on using Aramex couriers who at best are incompetent, disorganised and clearly simply dont care. 20 plus days now from your place to Perth and the order has been sitting in the Perth warehouse for a week now. seriously get rid of them before they do more damage to your business

Was sold a side and front privacy screen for my van, and was explain that you can slide in the antiflap kits, only to unpack and find that the front/ back screen was just a square and absolutely useless as being square and the awning being on an angle meant the screen just flapped in the wind, was not impressed, the staff should know their products better before trying to selling incorrect screens.

Bought a solar panel to charge my caravan batteries. Salesperson didn't inform I would need mp3 cord. See one on your website for $39 ,Travel to your shop now its $49 . Told to go wait pick up area . Really for a handsize part !! Wait 10 minutes , sorry our printer broken another 15 minutes parts arrived. I can walk into supercheap and get part 3 or 4 minutes. I did question price variations to be told bluntly $49 . Would you like to be treated like this. You lost me

Bloody terrible ! You advertise items as "in stock" when they clearly aren't and after a month and I contact YOU, you tell me your waiting on the supplier... only saving grace they gave you the single star was the total refund I asked for and got.

Constant delays on items bought. They don't tell you till after you order that items are on backorder. String you out. Have had items delivered to me which was supposed to go to elsewhere. ..Spend your money elsewhere..

Binoculars ordered and paid for turned out not to be in stock some weeks later. Refund came through promptly.

Poor delivery and communication skills. Item was sold as in stock, ordered it on express only for it to arrive later that it would if I hadn't done express postage anyway. Didn't get reimbursed the express shipping and missed the date for a Xmas present. Wouldn't order through them again.
