About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

I placed an order in October which was meant to arrive in 2-3 days. I then got an automated update that the parcel would arrive 3 weeks later. That wouldn't have been a big deal but it didn't arrive then either and I know had to source the items from elsewhere. At this point, I requested a refund but the seller said they would first need to track down the parcel. It's now over a month since the original expected delivery date and I have received neither the product nor a refund from the seller.

Terrible service. Had to wait almost two months to get my order. Staff would not even reply to emails asking for an update.

Hi I cannot leave an accurate review as I am still waiting for delivery!!!! We purchased 6 radios from you on 12 October - I receive an email stating that they were posted via Aramex on 23 October. It is now 27 November and still nothing has arrived. I am concerned about the length of time and will be requesting either a full refund or resent if they do not arrive soon.

I was assured I’d get a refund if it was the wrong product because I wasn’t sure if it was going to fit, they didn’t tell me it was a refund for credits to spend on their site. No good

Yeah not if you want service don't bother still waiting for parts to complete order since 26 of August paid express post did not get order till 3 weeks after order placement and still no response on when I'm getting the rest of order after multiple phone calls and emails, no key or original packaging for fuel inlet filler, don't bother with them 😔

Don't sell things you don't have in stock and take people's money while waiting for something to be made in China. Purchased led awning strip lights believing they'd arrive within the week with extra payment for delivery,no word or tracking number made me suspicious and called up to find no stock exists. Got my refund about a week later. A former customer 😔

I still have not received this product I purchased on the 18th September and its now the 24 October I would appreciate feedback on where my ite. Is and expect delivery time

good arrived damaged so rang to discuss but the person on the phone couldn't be bothered with it and said better to email details and someone will hopefully get back to you and still waiting. Would never use this company again

I think outback is ok but need to vet your freight providers better. Aramex are the most unprofessional and useless company I have ever had the misfortune of having to deal with.

Could get in contact with anyone when I did they wouldn't reply. The itam I brought the 12v cooker was no good and a waste of money would never recommend outback equipment to anyone

The item was not in stock, communication was terrible, and it took 3 weeks for the product to arrive. The only resolution offered was 5% off a future purchase, which is not good enough and shows the lack of care for the inconvenience caused.

When I received the caravan light as ordered, I realized that whilst it looked the same as the unit I needed to replace, it was smaller. I contacted you a few weeks ago and was told by your staff member that you would send me paperwork to send the unit back with and that it would then be replaced with the correct unit. I never received the paperwork. my email address is sbaptie@gmail.com

Item I ordered for my son's birthday was not in stock. No one contacted me about that for 16 days, then I rang. Two other deadlines for delivery came and went with me having to ring to get an update. At no time was there contact from your sales team to get information about my purchase, I had to initiate all contact. Order was eventually cancelled and I found the item 10% cheaper on another site. Lousy service and customer communication skills.

Originally prompt order and delivery. Delivery came in damaged. Conversation assured prompt replacement. Nah. 2 conversations later over 6 weeks still no joy. Won't be using them again
