About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

I tried twice to get information about awning mounting kits. And had zero feedback or answers, have a look through your system as you could have an error, that’s not servicing clients.

Absolutely terrible, ordered a product in november 2022, it's not September 2023 and after multiple attemps of contacting this company, no resolutions.

Had to wait as no stock available and the courier please service is very substandard. 7 days to deliver .

I ordered a washing machine and paid for this. It was promised to be delivered within 2 weeks. Then I started to receive emails about delays and finally they couldn't provide the product. I couldn't be more disappointed with the service

Ordered 2 plastic mud guards over a month ago, still haven’t received them . Spoke to customer services twice about it 2 weeks ago said they would keep me informed what happened to them in freight . Still waiting for a response.

You sent a missing part parcel to me. When I ask your customer service. You said I'm right and you know it. Now it's three weeks. I still not received the missing part yet.

Items ordered were unavailable and I was advised they should be in within a week or so. Several weeks and several emails later I was told different items were now unavailable but you would ship remaining items express. I was also promised a commensurate refund of postage. You refunded me 9 cents postage! Two more weeks past and no items. I emailed for an update and still no response so I requested a refund via PayPal. This was quickly processed on your end. I am struggling to think of a worse customer service experience I have had. I won't shop with you again.

Went to order the pole carrier that was in stock…. 700 dollars postage??????? Yep.. looks like it was in stock hey?

ordered three filters, they were just thrown in a bag with no supporting packaging around them. 2 out of three are now garbage because they were squashed, one was ok as i was able to straighten the cardboard. wont order again.

The front shocks are incorrect and was told by my mechanic that they will rub on metal if I go off-road... Was also told I would need to replace other components to make them fit properly

Sold products they dont have in stock only to be told (after I made enquiries two weeks after the purchase) they will be weeks/months on backorder.

Ordered Water Pump 21/6 as mine started leaking ,wanted to fit and take family school 2nd week holidays ,Did not Arrive until 5/7 should of bought elsewhere ,Not Happy

Very ordinary service, sold a tyredog TPMS OE didn't have, after 2 weeks of it not arriving I phoned Tyredog and Outback Epiupment hadn't paid their account so my purchase was not being sent. Was told lies by OE for the 2 weeks while I waited, saying it's on its way, I asked about tracking, and they told me they would phone the supplier, when the facts were it was never arriving. I won't buy anything from Outback Equip. again. Purchased the Tyredog directly from Tyredog instead.

I have not yet received my order so I dont know why you sent me a "how did we do survey". I ordered an exterior caravan light, was advised, not in a timely manner that it was out of stock. I requested a refund which I did receive in timely manner. Then the product was advertised again and I ordered again, surprise I was once again advised it was out of stock. It appears like you are advertising stock that you do not have, in this case it should be marked as out of stock on your website.

Not good. The website showed it was in stock and could be delivered. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The issue was it took 6 days to work this out .
