About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Ordered cover 16-11-2023 and still wating as of 2024.They sell products they do not have in stock. Take your money and you have to wait and wait and wait

Ordered a set of tyre Deflators, but was charged for 2. Contacted Outback to cancel / credit / get a return for 1 set. Got the run around, so went to Paypal a started a dispute / review. Outback responded that they couldn't refund the additional charge, while there was a active Paypal dispute and that if I cancelled the dispute,they would credit me. Outback never did credit or refund me!

Paid for express postage and it took over two weeks to get to me. Bad customer service. Very frustrating experience actually.

I received my tow bar 3 weeks after I order it and the courier you use I would not recommend them if they where the last couriers on earth and you out back equipment could have done a lot more to solve this problem so you have lost me as a customer for life as I would not trust your service any more

Recently ordered Aussie Traveller Anti Flap Kit. What I received was a Supa Peg De Flapper Kit what a load of Rubbish. The biggest problem was trying to get Outback Equipment to take it back and send the correct item, well that was a waste of time. I had to pay $50 for postage and then to be charged $10 for re-stocking. That was not going to happen, put item on Gumtree and Marketplace to recoup money. Bought correct item from another Company which was correct and then fitted. DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE BUY ELSEWHERE YOU'D BE BETTER OFF

I had a missing item when my order arrived, I contacted support to see what could be done...Support got back to me saying, please take a photo of the missing item... seriously!!!... I gave up at this point I can't deal with stupidity.

I ordered a part (LNB) online and paid for it using PayPal(glad I did) I received no notification other than it was expected in 5 business days! I sent an online message to Outback Equipment about arrival and received a reply that it was coming in the next shipment to Outback Equipment! Then nothing was communicated from Outback Equipment but I received a message from PayPal that I had been refunded my initial payment! Is that your usual method of communication? I bought an LNB through another website and picked it up locally Frazer

You guys let me pay for the stuff I ordered and also let me pay express for shipping then a week later I called up and ask where the stuff was and you only told me then that some of the items weren’t in stock and that I would have to wait. Not a good experience at all

I placed an order in October which was meant to arrive in 2-3 days. I then got an automated update that the parcel would arrive 3 weeks later. That wouldn't have been a big deal but it didn't arrive then either and I know had to source the items from elsewhere. At this point, I requested a refund but the seller said they would first need to track down the parcel. It's now over a month since the original expected delivery date and I have received neither the product nor a refund from the seller.

Hi I cannot leave an accurate review as I am still waiting for delivery!!!! We purchased 6 radios from you on 12 October - I receive an email stating that they were posted via Aramex on 23 October. It is now 27 November and still nothing has arrived. I am concerned about the length of time and will be requesting either a full refund or resent if they do not arrive soon.

I was assured I’d get a refund if it was the wrong product because I wasn’t sure if it was going to fit, they didn’t tell me it was a refund for credits to spend on their site. No good

Yeah not if you want service don't bother still waiting for parts to complete order since 26 of August paid express post did not get order till 3 weeks after order placement and still no response on when I'm getting the rest of order after multiple phone calls and emails, no key or original packaging for fuel inlet filler, don't bother with them 😔
