“I'll never buy from Outdoorlimited.com again - I asked them to delete my account. Here's my story: Purchased some .22 short and bought 100 rounds of 124gr 9mm HST +P to get over $200 for shipping. I needed the .22 short - when the shipment arrived, it was coated in some substance, repackaged by the shipper into another box, inside the repackaged box was my shipment box with 9mm ammo spilling out and the 9mm and .22 short all wet. I called Outdoorlimited.com to report what happened. I was told not to worry, that they'd ship me another shipment right away, and that I only needed to fill out a shipping claim. They told me they'd sent me the claim, to fill it out, attached pictures, and they'd send me my new package w/ammo. I asked them if they'd get any recompensation for this, they told me they would get some from the shipper and that customer satisfacation was critical. I received the claim, filled it out, attached pictures, etc. The next week they told me to "ship the ammo back and they'd give me a refund".... They told me they would refund me my money ONCE THE PACKAGE ARRIVED at their location... Now, after the call earlier, I'd thrown away the boxes, because they NEVER indicated I'd have to ship ANYTHING back.... After some back and forth with them, I told them to delete my account, that I'd just keep the damn ammo (I had to clean it) - hopefully it all works, but these folks are NOT customer focused. I needed the .22 short, had they told me to ship it back when I called, I would have done so. To wait several days to then tell me I'd get a refund when I TOLD THEM I needed the .22 short... Not customer friendly... TELL THE TRUTH up front next time this happens to someone...”

Thank you for the review, we totally understood the frustration as this damage was certainly not acceptable and yes we needed to deal with Fedex. We asked for photos so we could file the claim, it is not something we ask our customers to do. The initial call, yes our customer service representative did think we could reship the order, however when the claim was approved, there was an issue with one of your items being in stock so we could not reship. We were more than willing to give a full refund an d yes, standard procedure is to get the ammunition back from the customer so we can show it to our Fedex representative. Again, standard procedure. We were going to send a pre-paid label and once it reached our warehouse we would refund. When we file a claim, typically we wait for the claim to be approved and receive the check, that can take very close to 30 days, however we were willing to get the damaged ammo back and refund you right away. Again, we were more than willing to get you 100% taken care of, we just needed a little help from you. We apologize again for this inconvenience that we were working through as well.

“The manufacturer ammo was GARBAGE. Outdoor limited support responded to email and phone about the issue but manf never responded to anything and Outdoor limited reached out on my behalf. i appreciate this gesture, if true. i have still not been made whole after the the issue from either party and have never heard back from hyperion ammo. overall this transaction was a bad experience. have purchase here before with good experience tho. to be clear ammo failed 75%+ of the time through over 6 different firearms and over 10 different magzines.”
