“Honestly, I wasn't that impressed. I ordered a diary and although the cover design and personalisation is lovely, the paper is pretty thin, you can see the text on the page behind it. I was also under the impression that monthly calendars and to do lists would be at the start of every month, not all in one block at the start. Without a second ribbon to hold your place, it makes it a pain to find what page you're looking for. There is no returns policy, which I do understand but is still frustrating as it was not cheap.”

“I ordered a soft-back notebook, thinking it would be the same thickness as a regular notebook, only to find out when it arrived that it's only half the number of pages, making it really small and thin. I probably should've checked before I ordered it, but I didn't expect a book that cost so much to be so thin. The printing of the cover at the top is also slightly offset, so it doesn't bleed all the way to the edges as it should. Overall, I'm a little disappointed in the notebook I received, and I don't think I'll be repurchasing from Papier, since the total was ~$30 with shipping.”

“The quality and design is there, but the functionality is not. I got one of their academic planners, which looks absolutely amazing, but the layout of the planner is odd. I don't understand why they separate they separate the monthly overviews from the weekly spreads that correspond to the month. For Example, they put all of the monthly overviews together at the front. Next, comes all of the monthly goal sheets. Finally, the weekly spreads are at the end. Because of this layout, I have to flip back and forth between the monthly overview, monthly goal sheets, and corresponding weekly spreads. It's really inefficient when it comes to planning out your weeks based on monthly assignments and deadlines as a student. If they compiled the planner in a way that fit the corresponding overviews, goal sheets, and weekly spreads together, it would have been a five-star purchase for me.”

“I ordered a customized mid-year planner in early August (shipped to U.S.) and received it at the end of August. I was disappointed in the communication, as I never received the shipping notification/tracking number when it was shipped. In fact, my order still says "in production." I emailed customer service at the end of the expected ship date for an update. They responded with the tracking number and it arrived shortly after. Unfortunately my planner was also dented and the binding warped when I received it. I would have requested a new one but I don't want to wait another month to use it as school starts next week. What I'm probably most disappointed with, however, is the design of the inside sheets. I think the layout in general is fantastic - I love the two-page weekly layout and the monthly sheets and extra sheets as well. My problem is where these sheets are placed. For example, you have all of the pages showing the monthly view of each moth at the beginning one after another. Then you have all the pages with things like monthly goals, wish list, etc. in a whole other section in order of month. THEN you have all the weekly pages for each month. Am I alone in thinking this is really strange? I almost wonder if my planner got messed up. This forces you to have to mark three separate pages in the planner to see all the information for the month of September rather than just having all the pages of each month together. And it's just kinda to weird to start near the middle of the planner when it's only September because the monthly and goals sheets take up the first third. I looked back to the listing and couldn't tell from it that it was laid out this way, so maybe that could be made clearer. I thought this was going to be my end-all planner when I found it, but this design is just weird. If Papier ever changes this design and groups each month's pages in order, they will definitely have a repeat customer.”

“Trouble getting the website to work when trying to personalise. Unfortunately the customer support was not great - advice was to use a desktop instead of an iPad/tablet? Really ? Luckily I persevered (more times than I would normally) but the gift recipient was very pleased.”

“Le livre d’or est arrivé avec les coins abîmés. Il faudrait ajouter des protections en carton à ces endroits. Mais le service client a été d’une réelle efficacité et fort serviable. Bravo et merci pour cette réactivité. J’ai reçu en l’espace de quelques jours une nouveau livre d’or intact et conforme à mes attentes. Merci beaucoup.”

“I ordered a weekly planner and was a little disappointed when I saw it. The planner wasnt as big as I thought it would be, the personalisation didnt look the same colour it did on screen, the pages inside the book aren't printed very well it's very faint printing and does not stand out when you have vision problems, the writing wasnt centred like it should have been so looks wonky, the tabs that hold the ribbon are poking out of the book, and the book I ordered is white... but no protective film to stop it getting stained. I dont feel it was worth the £22 paid for it.”

“The process of making cards on your ap was very simple. However I was disappointed when I set up a number of cards to arrive on certain dates and they all arrived at once, the delayed delivery service did not seem to work and this was the reason I was attracted to your website in the first place.”

“Déçue. Première commande mauvais produit livré. Service client au point, ils me renvoient le bon agenda sans frais supplémentaires. Cependant, le nouvel agenda a des pages gondolées et une trace sur la couverture, pas top pour offrir en cadeau... Et le mot que nous avions écrit n'était ni dans le premier ni dans le deuxième colis.”

“My book arrived quickly and I was very happy with it. The negative for me was for $43 I would expect a hard cover. My fault I didn’t even read that, I just expected it. Being soft made a lovely personal story look like a $20 gift”

“The photography makes it look much nicer than it is, but the books just look a notebook you'd get at an office supply store, with a print and a customised cover. If you're going to the trouble of getting a customised gift, I'd go with something a little nicer.”

“I ordered two journals and 20 notecards and envelopes. The items were jammed into a small package and the notebook covers were slightly misshapen. One of a gift for my sister, so I was bummed about that. The journal cover was also not what I expected. For the price, I was expecting better quality, but the books are fine.”

“Beautiful products, but I wish the quality of paper was better. Ordered three lovely notebooks, two as gifts and the third for myself. They’re gorgeous to look at but I wish the paper was thicker so that my writing from one side of a page to the other wasn’t so visible.”
