My daughter ordered a photo book for my birthday. I am not able to travel ,to see my grandsons at the moment due to sickness. Therefore I was really looking forward to get the photo book . When it arrived and I looked at the photos , the first few pages came apart instantly. Every time I opened it, other pages came apart. Also the photo sticker on the front of the book is peeling off. It's a very poor quality for a photo book for this price. My daughter went back to Papier and they replaced the photo book . It is the same bad quality . Now we have to send both books back to Papier ,to get a refund . A lot of hassle and posting cost are involved to get a refund. The poor quality is not our problem ! I am not impressed with this company, the service and the quality and would not recommend them ! Sabine

My daughter had a photo book made for me of her June wedding. It was beautifully presented but the pages fell out almost instantly. I wanted it as a keepsake to look at in years to come. When she emailed Papier, she was offered a 25% refund of the cost. Very poor response to what should have been a quality product for the price

This company has been very unresponsive and disappointing. I received an email from Papier saying that my photo book had been shipped and was given a UPS tracking number. However, even after 10 days, the tracking information showed that UPS had never received the package from Papier. I contacted customer support through the chat, and the agent told me they would investigate the issue that day and update me. Unfortunately, I never received any follow-up. I tried contacting them again today, but no agents were available. At this point, I just hope they will refund my money. I chose Papier for my first photo book, but the experience has been extremely disappointing. I hope no one else has to waste their time waiting for a package that never ships.

Ordered a total of 9 books, spending close to £350 with extra pages and nice stock. The most important book, the medium hardback was delayed, and arrived late for the birthday it was meant for. Papier did not email me to make me aware that my order was delayed until after the delivery due date. There was no explanation as to what had caused the delay despite asking explicitly and repeatedly. It takes over 24 hours for them to respond to each email and avoid answering your question. There was no confirmation on when I would receive my order, or how long they estimate it might take to fix the undisclosed issue. The only option I was given was to cancel my order. So speaking with Papier customer service is useless, as you can cancel the order in your account anyway. As a customer I was just left in the dark, and unsupported and It felt like Papier were trying to hide something. On top of that, after being unable to tell me how long my book might now take and what the issue was, they were still advertising these books on their website, with about a 5 day turnaround. My book was delayed around 8/9 days. This felt very dishonest of Papier. I would have expected the website to have a notice on the home page, stating that they have issue at the printers etc and timings are delayed, or to at least specify a realistic timeframe on the website to stop them from overpromising and disappointing any more customers. They refunded my express postage on request as I stated I was not happy to pay a premium for express postage when the book is so delayed. So basically badly managed delays then badly handled by customer service agents. Book was delivered late, missing the 90th birthday it was intended for. Will not be using Papier again, there are so many other book printing companies to choose from...

I am very disappointed in the customer service of this brand. The website is not easy to navigate and after ordering a planner that was larger than anticipated they would not let me exchange for the smaller desired size. After 2 emails that I sent they offered a 20% refund on an over $40 item that I am now stuck with. This was my first and last purchase.

So, after a delivery debacle, I finally received my planner, and as usual, I love it. BUT, the “sticky notes” that I purchased to match the color scheme are useless. They do not stick to anything. Am I doing something wrong? This should be a no-brainer for a company like Papier. So, yes, buy the planner. Do not get the “sticky” notes that do not stick.

I was so excited about this order. I personally customised a photobook from scratch as a first anniversary gift for my boyfriend. When it arrived, I noticed straight away that two pages were stuck together. When I carefully opened the book fully, the pages ripped apart from each other and got damaged in the process. The damage is light, but it's still damage. As someone who is a perfectionist, it's really hard to give someone a present that isn't perfect. I'm truly disappointed. No one should receive a damaged product, especially one made with this much personal meaning behind it.

Still waiting for an order (P-5707610) that was meant to have been received by 15 June (ordered on 8 June) and not been able to get any response from live chat or email. This was for an anniversary gift and was ordered with more than sufficient notice, but really disappointing for a delay with no explanation or updated timescale. Now at a loss as to whether to just hope it arrives in the next few days with expedited delivery or somehow find another present.

Bought a custom photo book and the front page had a photo poorly stuck on and half peeling off. Please see photos attached. Very poor quality for $183 AUD. Don’t buy!

While I really enjoy my customized planner from Papier, I likely won’t purchase from them again. I was surprised to see Islamic religious holidays included (such as the Islamic New Year), while major Christian holidays like Easter Sunday are missing entirely. As a customer in the US—where Christianity is the predominant religion—this feels unbalanced and out of touch with the local market. Even in the UK, Christianity is still culturally significant. If the planner is designed for global audiences or primarily sold in Islamic countries, that should be clearly stated. Otherwise, it would be great to see a more inclusive and representative selection of widely observed holidays. Do better.

I’ve used papier for years but I haven’t ordered from them for a while, and after this time I will look elsewhere. I ordered 3 copies of a photo book as gifts for family as well as some cards 11 days before I was leaving to meet them. 4 days later (day before it was due to arrive) the order was cancelled. I spoke to their customer service who were very friendly but ultimately unhelpful who confirmed that while they would not expedite my order to ensure it arrived, if I ordered it again (and re-do the entire book from scratch) that night it would arrive by the date I needed them. I placed the order that night. The order was then delayed due to ‘printing’ by 2 days, which was too late. Now they have arrived, the quality of the photo books are not what I expected. There is bleeding from the pages and the edges of the front and back covers are poorly finished and look loose. This is on all 3 copies. I’m very disappointed with them and will look elsewhere for more photo books in the future. I don’t know if they have changed manufacturing recently but this seems to be a recent recurring problem looking at other reviews.

I am genuinely furious with the experience I’ve had with this company. I ordered a wedding photo book for £85 as a gift for my parents, who live abroad. We only see them once a year, so this was incredibly important to me. I wanted to give them something beautiful from our wedding just a few months ago. This wasn’t just a casual purchase; it was something meaningful and time-sensitive. I spent hours and hours carefully designing the photobook, formatting every page exactly how we wanted it. It was detailed, intentional, and something I put a lot of care into. What I received? Completely unacceptable. We chose the fabric photobook with a photo on the front, assuming there would be a proper slot or window for the image to sit neatly inside. Instead, they’ve literally just stuck the photo on the front. It looks cheap and amateur, like something a child has glued together. While most of the photos printed fine, multiple pages included the default placeholder text “add photo caption here” at the bottom. How on earth does that even make it to print? Why would any customer want that? This alone proves there is zero quality control! No one is checking these orders before they’re sent out. Now here’s where it gets even worse. We are flying on Wednesday to see my parents, the entire reason for ordering this in the first place. I asked for a reprint to be done properly and delivered before we leave. Apparently, that’s impossible, they can’t get it to me for over a week. Completely useless given the circumstances. So I then requested a full refund so I could order from a more reliable company. And what do they say? I have to return the photobook first. Seriously? Why on earth would they want a personalised wedding album back with someone else’s private photos in it? And more importantly, why am I now expected to waste time returning an item, while packing for an international trip, when this mess is entirely their fault? Customer service was just as bad. Alea, the agent I dealt with, was incredibly unhelpful. She didn’t even send the return label as promised and instead fobbed me off to an AI bot, forcing me to waste even more time trying to get back to a human, only to end up with her again to request the label again. The whole experience has been stressful, time-wasting, and deeply disappointing. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE CLOWNS!! I’ll be taking my business elsewhere to "Photobubble". They offer next-day delivery and far better customisation tools, which is the bare minimum you’d expect when you’re paying this kind of money.

My planner arrived damaged. I was offered a 25% refund. For a $50 journal that is a slap in the face.

I really love the idea of a Recipe Journal, it’s such a cool concept, perfect as a gift or even just as a little treat for myself. But honestly I was a bit disappointed when I got mine. The print quality on the covers isn’t great, all three journals I ordered were printed off-centre, which is pretty noticeable and quite annoying. It just makes them feel a bit off (on the stripy one it looks less visible though). view the photos for reference, I’ve hidden the surnames for privacy. I’m not sure if the softback spiral ones have the same issue, but with the hardback version it looks like they didn’t really account for the spine/joining properly, so the design ends up shifted on every one. For a professional printing company I don’t think that’s really okay, especially when you’re ordering them as gifts. It’s a shame, because the idea is lovely, but the quality didn’t quite live up to it.

I ordered a wedding photo book for my son and daughter-in-law’s 1st anniversary , I had already checked out several online ie photo book , Popsa and decided I wanted a more premium book. I am extremely underwhelmed and annoyed I ordered 2 one as a keepsake for myself!!! The books are very thin and cheap looking ( which they weren’t!) I am now considering trying another company which can produce a ‘coffee book’ quality book

DO NOT BUY! Purchased a daily planner (one page per day) in January 2026 and I leave it at home, so it doesn’t get taken in and out of a bag and just stays on the table. In MARCH (3 months later) the spine started falling apart. I emailed customer service hoping it was a manufacturing error and they responded that this does happen as “normal wear and tear.” Normal wear and tear?? 3 months after purchasing and not moving the planner?? I would hate to see someone spend their money on this trash planner. Currently looking elsewhere for a planner that goes above the looks and frills and actually lasts more than 3 months

I’m sad to upload a poor review because I think Papier’s designs are super cute. I noticed that although it includes any Muslim, Jewish, etc. religious holiday under the sun, Easter (& its surrounding days) were not included in this planner. I have no issues with holidays being included, but leaving Easter out seems very intentional & makes me look sideways at Papier

I ordered my third planner and I just realized that Good Friday and Easter are not included as holidays. They have been included in the past two I bought. This is absolutely unacceptable. I will NEVER order anything from this company again. And I will give negative reviews about this company every chance I am afforded because of this.
