“I have ordered Hallmark 2019 diary few days ago;it arrived in beautiful package and on front cover looked great. I absolutely love personalisation element and the choices of designs are plenty and of a good quality. Internal layout is also very satisfactory. However, for the price tag I expected a superb paper quality; sadly this is not the case. Paper is thin and of below average quality, hence why I have given 3 starts.”

“The product arrived as expected, but as the website had an Australian address it was surprising to find out that it needed to be printed in and sent from the UK. This was something of an inconvenience.”

“The designs of Papier are very nice. I ordered a personalized diary. However, I was disappointed when I found out about the softback cover. This softback cover is indicated on the website, but for $33 I think you might expect a better cover. I do have to by a cover protector now, or my diary won't survive longer than a few weeks in my bag.”

“Really easy to use website and lovely cards but I tried to use a discount code and typed it into the website twice but it was never applied to the total before in hit the buy button so felt a bit cheated by that as it was one of the reasons I decided to try out the brand.”

“Really fast delivery. Notebooks look lovely and packaging is nice. Binding isn't great given the cost of the hardback notebooks though and they crack when you open them. Paper quality inside could be better too. The sketchbook is far nicer and better value.”

Hi Jenny, I'm so sorry to hear that the binding cracked when you opened the notebook! This certainly isn't how these should open as they were designed to open fully - it sounds like there might be a production fault with this. “Yes agree the personalised book is beautifully illustrated and good quality paper, but very flimsy. I expected a hard back or at least a stronger cover. So on the whole was disappointed, as definitely not worth £18+”

“The customised notebook looks really good. The hot air balloons design is bright and colourful and my customised wording looks perfect on the front. Only slightly disappointed as it is a paperback notebook and I had thought it was hardback - as a result this is not a durable product and is definitely not going to look pristine for the duration of it's use as a holiday diary.”

“The personalised book is lovely, however I would have preferred a better quality paper. The whole product is made with a card like material which isn't great considering the price. Think about child friendly materials otherwise this keep sake is not going to last long at all.”

“the product was beautiful and really appreciated when it arrived. but it had to be sent twice as the first one never arrived and that’s quite an important factor as it was for a birthday and i have no idea what happened to it. however, customer service was prompt and helpful.”

“Great text and illustrations! The only disappointment is cover and binding. Cover is not sturdy enough, it would have been better if laminated and binding is just glued. I was expecting better quality for the paid price. Otherwise, very pleasant book.”

“Ordered the card for my sisters birthday- the website informed me if I wanted it to arrive to her directly for her birthday to pick the day before to ship. I did so- just for the card to arrive 4 days late for the day! Not happy about that- if I wanted it for the 10th I could have just spent the 4 days walking down to her and beaten the post! But at least the card itself arrived- so that's why I at least give 3 stars even though I am mad.”
