“This is specifically for the ACADEMIC planner. Overall, this planner is just fine. I really wanted a planner that would be fountain paper friendly and this was okay with some inks but not most. However, I am not including that in my rating - just want people to know. My major complaints are that the monthly breakdowns are not placed in between the changing months and that the weekly spread is too narrow. The monthly breakdowns are housed at the front of the planner. I find this layout very inconvenient. The weekly layout is just way too narrow for me, as is the 'to do list'. I can hardly write anything in that small space. Just not the right layout for me personally.”

Hi there - thanks for your review! I’m so sorry to hear you don’t like the setup of the 2022 diary! We originally developed our 2021 diaries in a different format due to consistent customer feedback on our 2020 diaries, asking for a clearer ‘month end’ setup in 2021 whereby months not finishing on a Sunday have the rest of the week on either side of the lists page, to allow for easier planning and simpler continuation month on month. Previously, our customers found that events in the second half of a week which fell over the end of the month were getting lost on later pages (after the list page), hence us making this change. The new setup gives you the option to plan your events and days either on the end of month week, or start of month week depending on your preference, and you can simply cross off whichever set you prefer not to use. However, following further feedback from customers regarding issues with this new format, we have reverted back to our original setup for our 2022 diaries. “So here’s the thing. My planner is beautiful it’s one of my favorite colors has my initials and it has bees and I love them too. I paid $73 for this planner and I couldn’t get tracking for it? Luckily I had something else ship out from the same location at the same time that included tracking so I was able to guess around what time I would receive it. This is the second time I’ve ordered from this company and I’m just not thrilled with shipping. The product is always amazing but I should be able to track my product if I’m paying $20 shipping for one item. Last time I ordered it within the “get it before Christmas window” and it showed up well after Christmas.”

“I've bought several notebooks and love them all - the designs and the quality and the fast delivery I hate the pen, it is really scratchy, stops writing and is akward to hold”

“The product is usually great but the dispatch time is terrible - you really cannot trust the expected delivery date you are quoted on the website. If you want to order make sure it is well in advance of when you need it - I have been let down at Christmas and for a birthday..”

“I love the designs, sizes, & option to personalize. I got the planner, & was prepared for it to take a while to get to me, which it did. What I really don't love about it is the fact that the pages for the end/beginning of the month repeat. So, if you're looking at the last days of August/September, you'll see the spread from August 30, a Monday, through September 5th, a Sunday. The next page is the notes page for Sept., & the one facing that is the goals, to-do, wish list, etc. And then I turn the page, & I have the layout for August/Sept once again. It's a pretty careless oversight & you would not think it's as annoying as it is, but for stationary fanatics, it's like an itch you can't scratch. It happens for every month that doesn't end on a Sunday so this year, it's happened nine times. So, that's 18 extra pages that are useless. I likely won't get another planner here if that's standard.”

“I am a junior college student that works and studies FULL TIME, so an agenda is essential in keeping me organized and I take them everywhere I go. I was pretty excited for my academic planner and don't get me wrong... The agenda is beautiful and the size is perfect to travel around with. But they really add in unnecessary pages, like the cooking and finances. I wish there was an option to include these sections. Instead I could replace them with notes or blank pages. And the weekly overview section is too small to write in detailed notes or assignments due that day which was the biggest downside. There is just no room to write in anything more than like 3 words a line. It's very cute but that's all it really is. They need to provide bigger sizes.”

“I purchased the academic planner in August of 2021. The product arrived sooner than the estimated delivery. I was disappointed that the layout had all of the monthly spreads first and the weekly spreads after, instead of having the months in-between. I use fountain pens on a daily basis and was concerned the paper wouldn't work with the majority of the ink I use - which is what happened. I tested 20 inks and only 6 did not bleed through and/or feather. There was some ghosting with every ink tested. However, the planner is not advertised as "fountain pen friendly" and it certainly is not! My only other issue is that the 'top to-do' section is very, very narrow and it's hard to fit a task on the line. I wish the weekly mood was put next to the word 'SCHEDULE' so you could rate daily instead of weekly - that feels more useful to me. I like the monthly view in the bottom corner and how the current week is highlighted with a box around it. I also like the bottom portion that says 'Today's Notes'. The schedule section is probably more useful for someone who is un undergrad What I wanted: A fountain pen friendly academic planner for use with my graduate program and my full time job. PROS: Size, decent paper quality, started in August, customizable with my name, ribbon bookmark, weekly spread has room for daily misc. notes CONS: Not fountain pen friendly (tested 20 inks, about 6 did not feather or bleed, all inks ghosted), some level of ghosting with all pens (even just gel pens), monthly spread is all at the beginning instead of between the weeks as the year progresses Overall, I'm glad I made the purchased because I've wanted to try a Papier planner for a long time. However, I likely would not purchase another planner.”

After receiving lots of customer feedback regarding our 2021 diary layout, we decided to revert back to our original format, with the monthly goals pages grouped before the 52 weeks of the year, to avoid confusion caused by duplicate pages. “The materials was good and also the payouts but I wish I can change the title also not just the date, and I also I wish I can white whatever messages or dedication on one whole page if we wish too, not just a short captions. That’s the only thing I don’t like with Papier.”

“I love my papier planner I purchased, and decided to purchase another planner and bullet journal. You get what you pay for and the quality is good, and they have decent promotions so you don't always have to pay full price! However, I am unimpressed with the shipping options. There is no free shipping, and the cheapest option is economy untracked. It should cost papier no additional fee to get the tracking number for the customer when they ship out the product. It seems to me to be just a little sneaky way to try and get more $ out of the customer-- when the customer is already paying shipping...”

“Ordered some photos to be mounted in some hanging picture frame. It’s a shame for the price they don’t use glass in the frame. The wrong colour was sent for one of the frames but this was resolved very quickly by customer service and a new frame issued.”

“I've ordered several notebooks from Papier now for myself and gifts for friends and have always been really pleased with the quality. When I needed a new notebook then, I thought I'd order from Papier again but went for a softback version because I wanted to save a bit of money. Considering it is only a few pounds cheaper, I was really disappointed to see there are considerably fewer pages (almost half the size of the hardback). I'm presuming this is mentioned somewhere on the website, so my own fault for not reading properly. All I can say is, while I have been impressed with the hardbacks, I cannot say the paperbacks are good value.”

“My mid-year diary has arrived and it’s OK, but I wouldn’t say it’s worth the price. It’s quite a basic diary for the money and the paper is very thin, you can see through to the next page. The calendar, monthly goals and monthly diary pages are in three separate places in the diary, instead of being grouped together by month. This means that you really need 3 page marker ribbons to find your place but the diary only has one. The personalisation and design are nice and it arrived quickly.”

“Lovely card set up, sent in excellent time, think it is worth shoppers noting that the card is a Matt finish so you don’t get that gloss effect that I was hoping for in a card, that being said they are thank you cards and fit for purpose so I will still be using them.”

“I like their greeting cards, they have some good designs. Want a Father's Day card without the obligatory fart jokes and football references? They have that. Ditto tasteful products for birthdays etc. But adding gifts to your order seems to slow down the production and delivery process, when compared to their rivals. If you need a greeting card AND gift to be delivered within five days, without paying £10 for expedited delivery, Papier may not be for you. Papier’s products are good. Delivery of gifts, however, is slow or expensive.”

“The photobook I put together using the Papier onsite photobook template was not supported with a clear instruction guide - I searched the Papier site a few times and on the general web but nothing came up which explained that you could re-sequence pages you had already inserted photos into, or that you could add pages, or that adding captions to photos was extremely limited to only certain types of pages. Consequently, the photo book I had put together for my elderly parent, which had taken a very long time using the painfully slow Papier template editor, could not be changed by me when I jad completed it because there was no online guide on how to do it. I had to miss out section title pages, could not re-sequence pages and could only add captions to a handful of pages. This was distressing because I wanted this book, a one-off, to be perfect and it was compromised. The delivery of the book was handled OK though, albeit one day late, having purchased the courier option.”
