I paid €68 for a valuable parcel to be shipped to Canada. P2G tol me that it would be shipped by Fedex, but another courier collected it. The driver did not come to the house (he asked me to meet him in a car-park) and he did not give me paperwork or scan the parcel. This led to problems with it being tracked. I found myself having to locate the whereabouts of my valuable parcel, by calling FEDEX and the intermediate courier many times, meeting "brick walls" along the way and pleading with one of the couriers to try and find it. The P2G team were unable or unwilling to assist me, simply saying "we are waiting for feedback" and cut and pasting their standard "we are sorry about this" messages every time I contacted them (at least 6 times by chat in 48 hours). This took considerable time and effort and the matter has caused me some stress. In the meantime, Tanya at P2G contacted me to say that because the wrong courier was used they would refund my fee and I should advise them on whether I wanted it sent to y bank or as a credit note. I accepted the refund to my bank account. This morning, she emailed again to say that as the parcel had been found (by me!!) they would not now be honouring the refund.

Hi Stephen, I do apologise for the issues caused here with the collection of the parcel. I will certainly pass the comments over to the courier to make them aware of the issues with this collection and the frustration they have caused to yourself for this. I can see that our support department were working on this very hard to locate the reason why we could not see any tracking details for this. I understand it is frustrating when we were trying to locate information and asking you to wait for us to update you and you feel like you are getting nowhere with this. I am going to contact you via email in regards to this issue and discuss this further with you. Dianne Fisher Parcel2Go Customer Service

I've had many successful deliveries sent thru this company the latest of which was from Bolton to Thurso , at the very north of Scotland, 500 miles away, and it was delivered NEXT day via APC/Menzies courier. Previously I have sent to the USA on a Friday and the package has been delivered on the Monday ! Only down side is the lack of a customer service phone number .

Just had a really poor experience with parcel2Go. Dropped off a parcel to my local collection point here in Edinburgh last Wednesday evening with an expected delivery date to London of Friday 25th November. After a week of trying to track the parcel and using the P2G Livechat the parcel was still not delivered. This was a wedding gift for a nephew of mine and it transpires that the parcel was never collected from the pickup point by the courier. Trying to get anything other text book answers from Livechat is a complete waste of time. I've now had to go back to the collection point and take the parcel from them so I can take it to the wedding with me. Trying to speak to this company is non existent, not even a customer email address is available. I'm going to Pursue this out of a matter of principle as all they caused me was grief, anxiety and worry. Two things that they are really good at is taking your money and avoiding any contact with the customer. Take my word for it DONT USE THIS FIRM. USE ROYAL MAIL INSTEAD.

Hi David, Sorry to hear you’ve had a poor experience with your delivery. We do everything possible to ensure that the couriers we work with are as effective as possible, so naturally it’s disappointing to hear stories like yours. If you could provide your parcel reference number (beginning with ‘P2G’), I’d be more than happy to contact the courier for you to find out the current status of your parcel. You can email me with your P2G number at online@parcel2go.com. Dianne Fisher Parcel2Go Customer Services

First trail of the this company to replace our existing courier service and... never even bothered to turn up and collect the parcel. I have to sit here after hours and rebook for them to "try again" tomorrow.. they haven't even bothered to let me know why, just left me to start hunting round on the website to find out if its been collected.. shoddy service that's just cost them £1200 a month in business

Sent two boxes to Melbourne Australia via Fedex who delivered to their local depot which it turns out only does "economy" deliveries on one day each week. This makes a complete nonsense of final delivery dates and re-delivery etc., could take weeks! I don't intend to use this service again and request that you take urgent steps to clarify the position to customers when booking, I haven't been able to find any reference to these bizarre delivery conditions on the booking pages.

Dropped parcel off on Wednesday night from UK, arrived in Poland (at a very rural address) the next Monday. Was able to track the parcel at each stage. We posted a few letters to the same address by royal mail; it took five weeks!! Excellent service, would totally recommend.

If you want a company that doesn't collect your parcel, absolves themselves of responsability and then treats you as a customer with a total lack of respect whilst being totally unhelpful then this is the company for you. Do NOT use they are appalling. You can only chat online with people who are singularly unhelpful and try to push the burden back on the courier company. There is no sense in booking through them as they provide no service.

Hi Andy, Sorry to hear you’ve had a poor experience with your delivery. We do everything possible to ensure that the couriers we work with are as effective as possible, so naturally it’s disappointing to hear stories like yours. Unfortunately, Australian Customs are very strict on what they allow into the country and they would not accept Candy/Sweets/Chocolate, etc. This is something they refuse to allow into the country and we do not have jurisdiction on this. I have located your order and therefore will contact you from the order directly. Dianne Fisher Parcel2Go Customer Services

Example of parcel delivery (or lack of) from UK to Spain. 11 days on and it hasn't left the UK yet. Contacted CS who stated it had not been scanned for a few days and sender should contact them. I do not recommend this disgraceful service. It will leave you disgruntled, frustrated and hesitant as to whether your parcel will arrive. Used Parcel2Go for the first time to sent an international parcel-as part of the Hermes arrangement. It was only going to Southern Ireland but Parcel2Go managed to lose it before it even left the Midlands Hub ! Had it been going North of the border in Ireland Hermes would have compensated for the loss but insurance is extra with P2G even for small value parcels. Fair enough if it had gone missing the other side of the world but to lose it within a couple of days before it even left England just seems like incompetence. Needless to say wont be using P2G again !

Booked parcel collection to Sweden for 30/10. Failed to collect agreed a rebook for 31/10, Tracking then showed the parcel sat in a depot 7 miles from my home for 9 days , I did an online chat, they had no idea , the parcel then arrived back to me on the 12/11. 3 days after the date I had been given as the likely arrival date for Sweden. The courier said payment difficulties could be why it had come back, but I had paid Parcel2Go printed labels for Sweden etc! 2 hours on online chat was frustrating and unhelpfu;l. i shall avoid at all costs and find the positive reviews hard to understand!

Booked parcel in through P2G Via DPD 24 Hour. We dropped parcel off at DPD pick up shop on the 7/11/2016 parcel was still at shop 11/11/2016. Contacted customer service after an hour long chat they told me they did not guarantee delivery even though the latest date for them to deliver was the 10/11/2016, they have now told me that parcel will be delivered Mon/Tues 14th or 15th Nov, this is not acceptable. This parcel was to one of my best customers whom I will possibly lose now through no fault of my own. Avoid this service at all costs.

Poor quality service; help facilities unacceptable. I followed the tracking facility, expecting a delivery to a nearby drop off centre on 9 November 2016. Unexpectedly and without any notice via email or message, I saw a notice on the tracking facility saying that my parcel had been returned to the sender: "The receiver does not want the product and refused the delivery. / The package will be returned to the sender." Parcel2Go had permitted or arranged for the parcel to be sent a drop-off centre that could not receive the parcel! I decided to telephone Parcel2Go to see what had gone wrong. No telephone number is available on the Parcel2Go website. (A later conversation with Parcel2Go confirmed that there is no telephone line available to customers.) I found one by googling 'Parcel2Go telephone number'. I was held in a queue twice, once for 25 minutes, the second time for 35 minutes, with waltz music and an intermittent message saying that 'your call is important to us, we shall be with you shortly', without any centre. Not important enough, it seems. I then went round to the nearby store where the parcel was to be delivered and asked why the delivery had been refused. They were bemused and said that they had not received a delivery for anyone that afternoon and so had not 'refused' it. So, another puzzle. Why did Parcel2Go say that the drop-off point had declined the delivery. I looked around the Parcel2Go web site again for some means of contacting them. With some difficulty, I found a chat line. I chatted with two representatives, the second being the first's supervisor. They were unable to tell me any more than I already knew. The delivery had been made by UPS (on their behalf.) The delivery van driver had, they alleged, tried to deliver the parcel to one of their designated drop off centres but the drop off centre had declined the consignment. I pointed out that this was almost certainly untrue, since I had spoken to the owners of the store (twice) in the store and they denied that any such attempt to make a delivery from Parcel2Go, via UPS, had been made that day. I pointed out the absurdity of the situation to the representatives that I was 'chatting' with. Nevertheless, with much 'apologizing for the inconvenience caused', they said that the only course of action open to me was to contact the sender (the following morning). When I asked for a Parcel2Go telephone number so that I could speak with someone, they replied that they could not give me one. When I asked for the UPS contact, they replied likewise. When I asked them to contact UPS and ask them to help, they said that they could not do so. I received reply after reply saying that they were 'very sorry about the inconvenience' but there was nothing that they could do to help me directly. I can accept that things go wrong -- even though it is quite beyond me how a) a delivery company can send a parcel to a designated drop-off point that doesn't accept parcels from them; and b) they can claim that they attempted to deliver the parcel to the store when the store denied that they had any such delivery. What is unacceptable is that they were no immediate way of putting the matter right. As soon as I notified Parcel2Go of the problem, Parcel2Go should offered, not apologies, but: a) reassurances that they would look into the matter immediately; b) promises that they would let me know within the hour or so what had gone wrong or at what point they were at with the issue; and c) confirmation of what steps they would take to remedy the matter. I cannot recommend Parcel2Go given this lack of customer support. I should add that I have never posted a complaint in my life but Parcel2Go's service yesterday was so poor that I have decided to do so on this occasion.

well despite numerous online chats and loads of promises they have been the singular most horrific company to deal with 15 th September this year (2016) I paid online for a parcel for a friends birthday in Australia they DID NOT pick up as they said they would in the end took it to the local shop where they gave me a receipt. I tracked it via online tracking via Maidstone to ocs then another two couriers to 'secure reception' ( I gather Heathrow) to be sent!...three months later and numerous online chats they quoted 'have found your parcel! it will be returned in the next few days NOOO it hasn't back on to them quote 'oh we will have to contact the courier as we don't know where it is!' haven't or seen it since now after all of this I am TAKING THEM TO COURT they are a TOTALLY CRAP COMPANY and by other peoples comments on ombudmans sites this is not uncommon ! DO NOT USE THEM they are s..sters!

I left my house and saw a delivery man from Parcel2Go trying the locked gate to a house some 50 yards away. Thought nothing of it till that evening when the tenant called round to deliver my parcel. He said had been thrown into his locked garden. The delivery man had never bothered to locate my house and as he had reached the postcode seemed happy to "deliver" it to the nearest post code house. No complaints procedure so I have complained to the seller who has passed it on. What a shambolic company. DO NOT USE BY CHOICE

Parcel2Go lost my parcel in transit as they had a fight with Panther who ceased working with them, losing me £840 for the items not returned to Amazon. Not only did they not pay me the supposed minimal insurance of £20, they did not return me the £50 I spent in sending the parcel! Go directly to the parcel companies.
