Poor customer service via telephone support. I purchase a laptop online and it arrived faulty, the customer service on the online chat and over the phone was terrible and unhelpful. I can see that I am not the only person that received similar experience. There is no complaint procedure, the 2 guys that I spoke to on the phone were so rude and disrespectful. The first guy didn't arrange the collection and replacement for laptop properly, so it was delivered back to me the next day, I then had to contact Currys again. So many people have lost their jobs and trying to find new ones, these boys (not men) are so ungrateful to have one and clearly have no manners.

Warning! This Company has taken money for a cooker and extra to be delivered yesterday, after three phone calls second one hung up they dropped the line I was eventually told the product won’t come in for another ten days and will be later as it needs checking first, refund time is 3-5 days so now have no cooker, money tied up and I guess if I’m lucky I won’t have a cooker for another week now, customer service can’t even part with an alternative model to resolve this even after I’ve offered to pay extra for an alternative that’s in stock, will now lose wages for whichever days I wait in and they’ll probably decide not to show up again with no warning judging from past experience, avoid this company I wish I had now, this seems common practice for them, if I could give zero I certainly would

Bought our tumble dryer with 2 years warranty and extended it to 5. It broke down 23 months after purchase within warranty. Samsung sent engineer they couldn't repair as needed regasing called currys who arranged another engineer who couldn't repair it either. 5 months after we still have no resolution. Please if your reading this take your custom elsewhere because if anything goes wrong they couldn't care less. We have made multiple calls sent over 24 emails and visited the store twice. Latest reply in November confirmed the item was out of warranty when it clearly isn't! Try hitting your head against a brick wall doesn't get you anywhere but its less painful. How can they get away with this poor customer service?

CurrysPCW are terrible-horrendous customer service!!!! Please please please don’t buy anything from that company!!! My student daughter recently purchased a £600 laptop for her uni work and was absolutely desperate for it, they sent another make laptop instead by mistake. To which we cancelled the order, this was after 4days. Two days later we had an email saying they’d sent the original laptop. To which we explained we had cancelled the order and I’d had to purchase one from another supplier and just need the refund. Over a month later and numerous phone calls still no refund. One call and after 20 minutes you finally get through, you go through the security measures and explain your issue, then the customer service agent says he’s going to read your notes, 30 minutes later I’m still on hold the next thing I’m back to another agent who asks me the same questions and knows nothing about my call. Finally the response is sorry I’ll do you a Manuel refund and that will take 3-5 working days. A week later no refund, another phone call, to be told there’s a mix up in the warehouse and it will be another 3-5 days. Furious at this point to have wait another week, no refund. Another call and told the same, I wanted to speak to the manager, to be told he’s not available but he will phone me back in 24 hours. No call back. Now we’ll over a month and still no refund, same excuses, problems in the warehouse and it’s been shipped again??? I’m very frustrated and would never recommend them!!! Absolutely useless company, who holds onto customers money for over a month with no goods supplied!!! Don’t use them!!! Edit

I went into the Orpington shop on 5th… I went into the Orpington shop on 5th December to purchase a cooker hob upon paying for the item I was told that delivery could not be before Christmas and the date given was 28th December. I came home and went on Currys online and found the exact item that could be delivered on 10th December so I purchased it and returned to the shop on 6th for a refund. I was told the refund would be within 14 days. Today makes 22 days and I have not yet received my refund. Currys is sitting on my £435.00. I rang Currys and they were very unhelpful and refused to give me the Orpington number. Now the shop is closed due to COVID19 and the customer service cannot help as they said it has to be dealt with at the shop I made the purchased. I found 2 emails online and send my complaint and they both bounced back. I would never recommend or give them my business again. I have used AO to purchased other items as I have just moved into a new home.

Spent £350 today. We had some gift cards to redeem. Curry's PC World hadn't got the technology to do this. Very disappointed.

Visited pc world Plymouth to purchase Xmas present for the wife & support local business. I enquired about a windows 10 tablet only to be told there was no such thing by the in store branch manager & their so called “tech expert” which this then only led me to believe this was either a sales pitch to purchase a more expensive item or their expertise & knowledge of these products were sadly lacking in all areas after listening to the advice given by the so called “tech expert” After leaving the store somewhat dejected from a wasted journey I went online & Lo & behold, what did I find but the very item I had been searching for! Needless to say in these times you need to ask yourself this question. Why are a lot of these stores & businesses closing down? Well maybe, here lies the answer!

I ordered an item 6 days ago on the premise that it would be delivered today. I contacted customer services due to receiving no tracking info only to find it had not been shipped and that they could not track it either so I was put on hold for 20 mins again just to be told it could not be tracked due to being a third party vendor and they could email to see what was going on. Poor customer service and misleading advertising. I will never purchase another pc component from Curry's/Pc world.

Worst experience ever. Don’t expect your laptop manufacturer warranty to be worth anything. If their tech support department of school kids can’t fix it, they will claim that the customer has broken it and refuse to send it back to Dell. Their technical support team are called KnowHow which is some type of sadistic oxymoron I feel.

Oven we brought from them has knobs that get hot enough to cause burns if the oven is on for over 15 minutes. Engineer has been out but apparently that's normal. Never had any other oven or known any that have had this issue.

Having endured so much stress and grief at the hands of Curry's, PcWorld i managed to get a charge back on my credit card as my card provider agreed this "Despicable company " were acting outside the law. So much so that I actually recorded the manager of the Chesterfield store shouting at me, his constant interruption and verbal abuse only eased when I informed him that I had been recording everything on my mobile. Miraculously his tone and attitude reformed on hearing this . He did however point out that recording without his permission is illegal but he clearly knew that he had not allowed me to finish any sentence by shouting and interrupting and that I couldn't possibly have asked for his permission. Basically my experience with curry's was an absolute nightmare from start to finish.

First of all the thier customer service team are very rude. Its obvious that they don't know what they are doing including their managers. Purchased a washing machine and they failed to deliver the right one. It was like they were doing me a favour by selling to me. This is the worse customer experience. Please avoid them at all cost and shop at john lewis for an excellent shopping experience.
