Needed advice on buying a new laptop that will fit my requirements but the staff i spoke with did not seem to have the knowledge on a technical level. Ideally would expect pc world to have good customer support? So had to talk with local tech support in north london which i recommend to everyone; visit site rectify.ml advice with products and options.

After waiting ages for an answer, I finally got through a member of your customer service team (Yasmin) who did not resolve my issue, was very rude, arrogant and dishonest. I explained that I received an iwatch, which was ordered to store and after taking it home to inspect I was not happy with the state of the packaging! The box had marks all over it and one of the corners is squashed! I was worried about how the watch was transported and why it looks so abused? I paid £529 for the item, I did not expect such poor packaging. This was supposed to be a gift. The item was stored in a cupboard along with other deliveries but had no outer box to keep it safe (Yasmin explained that it should have been packed in another box but it was not). I also had to ask for a bag in the shop. All I wanted from customer service was to be provided with some recognition / solution to the problem. I needed the gift for my partner’s 30th Birthday so had little time to deal with returns and getting a new item sent . I was willing to accept the iwatch in return for compensation but needed to know if this could be approved. If this wasn’t approved I would have ended up returning the item and purchasing elsewhere. Yasmin explained that this could not be done until images were seen which could take up to 3 to 5 working days for my email (separate to the phone-call that I waited for). I then explained that I had already sent an email to customer services yesterday and was still waiting for a reply. So I expected Yasmin to easily search for the email, however, she refused and said it was not possible. HERE IS THE FRUSTRATING PART. I rang again and got through to a lovely guy and explained my issue! I didnt even have to ask if he could access my emails, he just automatically offered to search for the emails and was able to see all emails that I had sent within second. Apparently Yasmin from “Team know how” is not part of the email team from “Team know how”. Yasmin answered the phone with a “Team know how” greeting but then proceeded to say that she was just customer service and did want to reference “Team know how”. Very inconsistent customer service help which led me to having trust issues with the solutions Yasmin was providing. I just don’t understand why she chose to lie. I waited a long time for phone call answer then to be told I was going to have to wait another 3 to 5 days just so the images of the package could be seen. I am very unhappy with the overall service. Yasmin was quite rude, inconsistent with explanations and even advised me to seek third party advice on the issue (really?). I asked if I could speak to a manager, but Yasmin did not assist with this request. Apparently, Yasmin said she had all the authority, therefore, I didn’t need to speak to a manager.

Received a faulty laptop and sent… Received a faulty laptop and sent straight back via DPD. Was told I would receive a replacement within 48 hours. Rang up several days later to be told that they are no longer stocking that model. Requested a refund but was told that the warehouse had a backlog of items to scan in and I would have to wait an unspecified amount of time until they got around to processing the faulty laptop before issuing a refund - still waiting - PC World have my money and I don't have a laptop. Didn't receive an apology. No offer to find a different laptop for me or offer any sort of deal in order to retain a customer.

If anu software or hardware issues they they overuse... They will take all your money.. If you cancel your careplan after buying, you have to ages to get the money but they wont give you full payment.. Only they will give 2 month careplan prize... Still doubt...? Go through reviews on teamknowhow...

not satisfied with the service of my laptop, problems were not resolved and the time taken has made my assesment work late to give in to my manager, would not recommend to anyone. Some staff were helpful but they are not professional when it comes to pc repairs they might need more training. Found this local pc tech recommend to you in highgate - site rectify.ml

Worse experience I've ever had. They are selling used product as new (saddest thing is that they don't even trying to hide it), but if you buy a product which you realise it won't work for you, they won't let you return it (as they can't sell an used item - see above - because it's not in its original packaging - I get an item without box, it was just wrapped with tape, and the manager said: "every product comes without a box from the manufacturer, we put the products into the box here in store, we've just forgot to put this in, let me find a box for you.". Buy an used for half price, no matter where it is from. You'll get better for sure.

We purchased a laptop in store last year. We were mis sold an office bundle and protection for the laptop which they claimed was ‘the best price we could get’ we went home and found a better deal for £30, about £300 cheaper than what we bought instore. So the next day we went back to return all the unwanted products to get a refund and cancel the rest of the credit agreement. We were told that everything was sorted and we would get a refund soon. Now, 10 months after we thought we sorted everything, we are getting constant calls and emails from the credit company saying we still have outstanding payments that need to be payed immediately. We went back in store and the team were beyond useless and said they couldn’t do anything, call the credit company back. We were sent from the credit company back to the store and back again ... FOR DAYS. We went back in store after 3/4 times and told them to sort it out or we would take it higher up. It turns out Curry’s PC world had incorrectly refunded our products in the first place so instead of refunding us the £100 they owed us and cancelling the rest of the credit, they kept the money and excepted us to keep making payments. Because they messed up and couldn’t admit to it they are now keeping the rest of our money and said we have no option but to keep paying the credit off as it can’t be refunded now!! Wasted hours of our time and still couldn’t sort the problem out!! Absolutely useless company with no care for the customers, just for their money. Don’t ever buy from them!!

The worst store on the planet - read all the reviews before even bothering to enter the store! I ordered an electric oven. I asked the boy if it needed installation or if i could just plug it in. He said plug it in. When it arrived, there was no wire. The delivery guy tried to leave as fast as he could, but i caught him. Turns out you pay seperately for the wire and again for installation - £75!! i had to wait for an installation day - (only Thursdays and saturdays - except for the saturday i was there!) the installer could not be bothered to turn up, or even give a reason why. After wasting a days work, i then phoned up. They said they would give me a 2 hour slot for another day for free (apparently it costs £20 to make a 2 hour booking slot) on the day they were due (again), I get a text saying that they would not make it that day! I called and complained and, they suddenly made it that day. A much more sensible person turned up this time. He actually assessed the situation properly - unlike the boy in the shop and the cowboy who delivered it. He informed me that with the new 'regulations' my kitchen could only have a gas cooker, unless i had new electrics put in for the cooker. He made his phone calls and, even took the oven away, instead of dumping the useless chunk of metal in my house for yet another week. I have bought a halogen oven from the internet at roughly £30, instantly saving me £240 and without hassle from a bunch of idiots who have no-idea what they are selling at weymouth currys. Would also like to say though, well done Lisa for customer service and, the guy who would have installed the oven if it had have been possible. Other than that, there is really no point in having this store here! I was not compensated for my day off work, or even the ridiculous service that i had to endure.

Possibly the worst company in existence. How does PC world work? If you buy a laptop from PC world and there is a fault; its your fault the product is faulty and not theirs or the manufacturers. They say you can view the product in store but I couldn't view this product since it was something they did not have on display. Now with almost every company; if you are not happy with your product then you can return it. But does PC world have this same policy? Of course not! These money grabbers couldn't care less! I will never be shopping on PC world again. I think I will just by the techy products I need online where I am able to do a deeper research into the products I am looking for.

second attempt at ordering from P C world, second order cancellation. I moved house recently and bought a fridge from Currys P C World. Paid for it, booked in a delivery date, and waited for it. It never arrived. After no communication from the store I called to find out my order was cancelled. They blamed the bank (the bank took a larger payment from SCS just fine and deny any issues their side). We thought it was a fluke error and bought a washing machine last week, same again - order cancelled. At least we got an email this time, but I won't bother with a third time.

I have purchased a £12.99 blender in offer in Birmingham New Street who only works 50% of the times even if I followed the instructions as advised. The employee asked me to show him how I was using it. I got surprised and didn't do as instructed on the manual, because I was under pressure by the behaviour of the employee even though I tried explaining multiple times that I never said it didn't work, I said that under the same conditions and setup - which was right - it worked only 50% of the times. I was told that only a video would be enough to prove my point, with absolutely zero customer trust. No, going back home and losing time to make a stupid video for a £12.99 blender is not even worth the trip. Besides this, the blender works very, very badly and really does NOT do its job. I strongly advise against purchasing this specific product from this shop according to my experience with the product itself and the customer service. Will not be shopping here again.

I so want to support high street stores and not buy on line but visited Weymouth branch twice to try and buy a new tv, on both occasions I left without tv as all the ones I was interested in staff had no knowledge of and after searching on a failing website when they finally got the Spec they did not understand it and could not explain anything, despite this when I finally made a choice they told me the 2 tv,s I had considered on display were no longer available. Very disappointing service. Spent hours in your store just trying to buy a tv. Sorry but I won’t go back a third time.

T Needed a Toner Cartridge and a Cooker hood so popped into PC World/Currys in Highgate Birmingham. Walked around the store looking for someone to help but no luck. Waited in line at the counter for ages to find out that both things were not in stock and that I could not order from the store as it would not give me the online discount. Had to go and find a computer and ordered them online. The toner could be ordered and collected but the cooker hood was only available through delivery!! So after receiving six (6) email regarding just the toner I went to collect it and was told that I needed the credit card it was ordered on!! Lady serving me told me that this was mentioned in the emails!! Which one?? so much information to go through in the six email!! This is not the first time I have been disappointed by this store, I have previously shopped here and I have had to wait for long periods or leave as no staff were available or the item I wanted was not in stock. The amount of time it takes to make a purchase is just silly in this day and age. Improve or lose! Judging by the reviews (77% -1 Star) on here and other sites, I think that it will not be long before we lose another Electrical Retailer. It might even get better if you were just online!!

When I contact the technician,Too rude response from technicians even the problem of the laptop I bought is faulty. When I report to manager, he just covered his staff fault and he said he can do apologise for that no responsibility for that and thank you for your feedback. Too bad service, No more purchase from there

I gave my promise to review my experience from Pc World and I will keep it. The worst costumer service ever. There is a high chance that you will not receive your item, lose your money, and you might as lose the chance to be refunded. Ps the people working for the customer service have the weirdest accent. If I could give you a zero I would.
