If I had the chance of giving no stars, I indeed WOULD! Currys is a consumer right violating company. I have an issue that was NEVER was solved. And I hear SO MANY people cry out for help because Currys have exploited them. Please DO NOT buy any of their products!

Replacement cooker was supposed to be delivered and installed and old cooker removed, but sadly you decided in your stupidity just to deliver it by a jobs worth useless van driver, I had to throw away food that was supposed to be cooking in the cooker that was supposed to have been delivered and installed yesterday, also tried to call so called team know how 16times this morning but you couldn't be BOTHERED TO answer my call,I do hope after all the stress and anxiety and upset you caused we will be compensated and the fact that my family had to endure expensive microwave meals which are expensive 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Purchased a Logic washing machine which was faulted with a large piece of plastic in the waste pipe from manufacturing which prevented the drainage of the water. Rather than replacing it, Currys sent a repair operative from "cowboy plumbers" who wanted to cut off the pipe behind the plastic piece and then using tape and jubilee clip to attach it to my undersink waste pipe; I told him where to go. I lost a days salary in order for "cowboy plumbers" to suggest a nonesense solution. Ten days after the original delivery, Currys exchanged the washing machine. I complained to Currys and they offered £10 goodwill; obviously I refused. They did not care in the least that I had been badly inconvenienced and had lost a days salary; the two emails I received were very identical template responses. Never again.

So we order an item to the value of £1449 which my daughter saved for 12 months for and needed for her ALevels. We receive notification to say it’s ready for collection , to then when we get there say there has been a problem and was not barcoded so a refund will be given taking 14 days I spend 2 hours on the phone to customer services - promised 3 call backs and nothing resolved! I go to store - where they have 3 in store - to be told sorry I can’t give you this product ! So no refund or exchange ! I state customer rights etc to end up with being in the store for 4 hours to no refund and no exchange to the police being called to have to go back in tues to sort !!!! Please avoid especially Kettering branch where to be fair staff was really good but the manager - well in tears saying his quitting his job to being a coward and calling the police!!! Police who actually agreed they was in the wrong by all affairs !!!! Disgusting - daylight robbery

I bought a Sony TV online for £1100 - got it delivered 2 days later and was disappointed with picture quality. By the UK regulations for a distance sale I'm allowed to return product within 14 days counting from delivery date. Called PCWorld 5 days after delivery (number provided on my return info letter) and explained that I'm not happy with product and would like to return and possible buy more expensive one. Been told that since I've opened box they will NOT take it back. 5 years ago I paid £3k for top quality tv and since it has just died I decided to buy new one and not worse then the previous one. Anyway - since I know few people at my local PCW a managed to return it but you people at PCW just lost a good customer - got a business account with them but they just did everything to ruin customer relationship - will never use again until amount of good reviews will exceed those bad once. Please avoid - for now

I would give them zero if I could. I brought a gaming computer costing £1300.00 on 17th Nov 2018, I have only had it for 3 months and it is displaying several faults. I have taken it back to the store for a refund/replacement as it is still within the 6 months guarantee period, to be told that after 30 days, all they can do is try to repair it, and only then will they replace it, which is totally against what the Consumer Rights Acts states they must do. As I had not choice I left it with them for a repair, two hours later they rung me to say that they had tried the computer and there was not a fault on it and there was nothing more they could do. I went back into the store to explain that I was not a liar, and that I had experienced faults with it, and that by not giving me a replacement or refund they were in breach of the Consumer Rights Act. The person serving me was extremely rude, condescending, obnoxious and said sarcastically "where did you get your information from, Wikipedia" to which I replied "no Gov.UK, Citizens Advice, and Which, surely they cant all be wrong". He then started sprouting a lot of rubbish about its not their policy to exchange/refund etc etc. At this point I was so incensed and angry I told him I wasn't interested in hearing any more from him, took the computer and left. I had my 13 year old son with me at the time who was very upset and distressed and actually said "mum that man was so rude to you". NEVER EVER EVER EVER BUY FROM THIS STORE.

My mum had a dishwasher installed and paid £25 for. Two men turned up (Polish) didn’t have any tools with them, luckily a carpet fitter was there and lent them a pair of grips, they took the old one out and installed the new one, my mum asked if they could take the plastic rapping off side , but they didn’t as in too much of a rush. Two weeks later my mums floor as come up as it’s wood, pulled dishwasher out and the connection was Cross threaded and been leaking. PC World, Curry’s were called and sent someone to look who said these two guys should never of installed dishwasher and admitted liability. My mum has been told by two flooring companies the floor needs to come up as very wet and now can’t open doors. PC world , Curry’s have now sent someone else who’s asked who admitted liability and will talk to the two guys. My mum has now rang and sounds like there back tracking and want nothing to do with, the guy even asked how water got under floor lol. My mum is now going to seek legal advice . Do NOT use. Terrible Company!!!

Latest on the Currys PC World debacle (remember this?) https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10157044287172235&id=724757234 They contacted me asking for my details, details of purchase, store, etc. I responded to said email with very low expectations. Guess what? I got the usual automated reply, telling me how important my email is to them and that they aim to respond in 5 days. That was on the 13th Jan ... yeah, they're not going to respond.

Not even worth a one star rating. I can't even begin to describe how horrendous the customer service is here and how completely incompetent every member of staff that I dealt with was! I called to simply book in a repair for a dishwasher that I'd purchased earlier in the year. I was on the phone for 1 hour and 40 minutes and transferred to a different department a total of 8 times as not a single person knew what to do. Surely this is a common query?! Every time, I was assured that the next person would be able to sort out the repair. Eventually, I was charged £119 for the privilege and only paid as I was so frustrated to have already wasted so much time on the phone. I wish I hadn't now. I asked for a VAT receipt as I the payment was for my work premises. I was told that this would be emailed to me. The next day I received an email receipt (not VAT receipt as requested) so I replied and asked again for the VAT receipt, they then sent me a VAT receipt for the original purchase of the dishwasher, not the repair. After several emails stating specifically that I required a VAT receipt for the repair at £119, I still didn't receive it. Someone called me apologising and assured me that this was being sent by email and post. No email ever came and in the post was once again a general receipt, NOT a VAT receipt AGAIN. It's now been two months and I still haven't received it or a response to the complaint I've made despite forwarding them on a few more times after no response. I had a phone call a few weeks ago asking me what I wanted them to do and I said just quite simply sending me the VAT receipt that I have asked for over and over again. I also said that I wanted to enquire about compensation as so much time has been wasted trying to resolve this. I was told they would forward it on and someone would be in touch but of course in true Currys PC World style, no one has been in touch. I cannot believe that there are such incompetent people in the world, never mind all seeming to be working for the same company. I'd never buy from them again and hope that others read the reviews before wasting their time and money too.

Don't usually complain about, well anything really ....but just come away from Currys in Burnley absolutely totally demoralised....long long story short, son bought a new washer on the 10th December, delivery date Boxing day....this date was at an extra cost, it is now the 13th January, no washer. Dates come and gone, spoke to Nigel from Currys who said it wasn't their problem and the complaint was with the delivery firm Know How. I tried to put across that surely any items bought were still Currys responsibility until delivered to the customer. Apparently not!! A phone call was made to the delivery firm that apparently I have a complaint with, asked Nigel why I couldn't speak to them he said they didn't want to speak to me! We were told Currys had done all they could. Outcome is delivery date is now 15th Jan and they suggested they were delivering three days early. Currys still not honouring prepaid time slot and again people having to take time off work for a delivery that may or may not arrive.... apologies for long rant, and I do realise working with the general public can be a very demanding job but surely customer care should be paramount. I was given a complaint number which I rang immediately in the car park. Told I needed a reference no. and to go back in store for it. Just as helpful again and told in store they couldn't supply that either.

In an effort to support physical shops, as opposed to shopping online, I made the effort to go to the Tottenham Court Road branch of PC World yesterday to try and buy a new PC to replace my old one. They had several PCs on display which I had previously researched online, three of which would have been suitable for me. Unfortunately, they didn't have a single one in stock for me to take away. The assistant - who was less concerned about answering enquiries about the products and more concerned about trying to upsell 'bundles' (anti-virus software and Office 365, both of which I already have) - said that he could order online for me, a suggestion I turned down, stating that I'd rather do it myself when I got home. On the way back to Walthamstow, I decided to stop off at the Tottenham Hale branch of PC World where I found a much smaller selection of suitable PCs on display, again none of which they had in stock. Come on PC World. Your lack of stock in your branches is embarrassing and your staff are less than useless. No wonder high streets are declining and people are buying more online.

We paid for a Chromebook a week past Friday. We were assured it would be delivered on either Tuesday or Friday this week. Got no call so phoned their customer service call centre last night to be assured there were two of the type of machine we wanted in their Drumchapel store. After waiting for at least thirty minutes, they admitted they could not locate them. When asked a member of their staff told us they have no control over what is contained in the delivery vans. In other words, even if you have paid for an item and have a promised delivery date, there is no assurance they will send the item as promised. WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THAT??????? So on Christmas day, I will have the cover for my new Chromebook and nothing else. The only thing Curry's PC World are interested in is taking your money. Whilst my partner waited as two managers??? tried to locate my Chromebook, I had looked at and chosen a new TV. I'd do without TV, computing or anything else before I would waste my time in ANY of their stores.

On 14Dec 2018 reserved item online. Went to collect it from high wycombe store the next day. After waiting 25 mins I asked the sales assistant where my item was. She rushed around like a headless chicken for another 10 mins. Then I asked to speak to the manager. He zoomed past me without even looking at me. When I said excuse me I'd like to speak to you. He was very rude and and quite aggressive. I will not shop at curry's again. The manager's name is Shaun.
