“I ordered a wonderful top from them a few months ago. I wore it 4 times then washed it in cold water, gentle cycle, and without soap just in case. The instructions on the tag said to do wash it this way, but could use soap. I chose not to - I laid it on a towel to dry and it no longer fits and is not wearable. I contacted customer service and they said " since it has been worn and washed they could not return it." I was willing to try another one even I really liked it but I WILL NOT EVER MAKE A PURCHASE FROM THEM AGAIN - THEY DO NOT ! STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS. I do not recommend anyone purchasing from them in case you are placed in a similar situation. It was NOT an inexpensive top to say the least. I am beyond unhappy with this company and think others should know!”

“I've been buying Peruvian Connection almost since they first started selling in the UK, being originally attracted to the romantic style, but specifically their virtually heirloom hand knitted sweaters, cardigans and jackets. Sadly they rarely do those these days, presumably because the prices would now be astronomical. I still buy a few items because their designs are good and usually the quality is still pretty good. Sometimes there's a long lead time if they are out of stock, but unlike another reviewer my personal experience of customer service has always been good. For example, I bought a couple of (fairly expensive) jersey tops, and after several months noticed that when held up to the light, the fabric had thinned badly, despite correct washing. They asked for a letter and the tops to inspect, and were then very prompt and courteous providing replacements. 4 stars only because they no longer do so many of the designs I loved.”
“I have bought at least 50 garments form Peruvian Connection - one garment has a faulty zip. I didn't wear them for a year and when I did found the zip to be faulty. Wrote a nice letter, got a rude one in return making out that I had said the garment was unsuitable, which I hadn't said. I thought I could trust this company - but my trust has been lost. Their 100% guarantee is worthless.”
“Peruvian Connection are to be avoided if you expect prompt delivery. I ordered two items in August, one item was delivered in October and the other is still outstanding. Their customer service is not too good either with no real updates so have cancelled the outstanding item and will not be using them again. I shop a lot online and cannot understand why delivery times are so long!”

“I really like Peruvian Collection clothes for style and quality, but in comparison with other quality retailers I find them somewhat overpriced.
But my biggest problem with them is their long delivery times and lack of associated customer service. I order much shopping online, and can honestly say they take longer than ANYONE else - I’ve had items from China arrive faster! I’m still awaiting delivery of a scarf, three weeks after I ordered it. Poor, when you consider their prices.”

“I was very unhappy with the quality of the item I purchased and with customer service for this company. I purchased their Windsor Top and wore it 2-3 times and it developed 2 holes in it. All I did was go to the movies and out to dinner. They asked me to send it back to see if it could be fixed. Unfortunately, they could not fix it. They said it was my fault. That it looked like I snagged it in something. I did not, but it is clearly a case of he said, she said. The fabric, although pretty, is too thin and extremely delicate. They would not replace the item or refund me. I had it only 1 month. They also would not put my review on their website. I am out $80 ( and more with all the mailing). I will no longer purchase from this company. Think twice before spending your money with this company. You could be stuck with a low quality clothing item.”
“Customer service is terrible. At least on line and over the phone. It seems that they take forever in shipping. Ordered on Wednesday and they MAY ship on the next Monday, if I’m lucky. I should have gone to the store myself. They keep rubbing in that it takes 5 to 7 days after shipping g yet the shipping takes one week. They didnt read my question properly and had to repeat myself. Not concentrated in the conversation. Bad customer service. Clothes look nice but dice me a break.”

“They sell the most exquisite alpaca and pima cotton mainly women's clothing . If you live in a cold climate, alpaca is so incredibly warm and soft and their pima cotton tops, t-shirts are to die for. The pima cotton tops come in medium weight pima, but also in such fine light weight fabric - perfect for hot weather. The colours and designs of both the alpaca and pima garments are outstanding.
The service of Peruvian Connection is excellent and items are always packed as if they were a gift and are shipped promptly.”
