It seems ok so far, but took quite a while to get a claim processed, and there was no real communication as to why. It would have seemingly sat pending for the rest of time if I hadn't reached out to inquire about the hold-up.

Really happy with this company. Unfortunately I have had to claim a couple of times and they cover the claim promptly without any back and forth like other companies can do to delay payment.

Pet's Best is a good provider that we trust for our golden retriever's medical costs. They are very responsive to requests and are good at keeping us informed about where claims are in the pipeline.

Filing a claim online is more difficult than it needs to be because of the wording of the questions and the drop down menu options offered, especially when your animal has more than one issue. I've had to call customer service a few times for clarification. Between long wait times and snippy attitudes, I'm not real pleased with this company. On the plus side, the annual renewal increase is reasonable. I have a senior cat.

I haven't really had the chance to use it as I never get past the deductible until recently. It took a bit longer even with emergency vet visit and in depth records sent, to get deposit in bank. Didn't realize the deductible applies for each claim in the same year (unlike human insurance) also still up in the air over first claim as they still want more medical records. I'm thankful I have the coverage but people need to be careful and read the fine print before purchasing

It sometimes takes up to a month to get reimbursed, I constantly have issues with the app working to the point that it’s unusable, & the yearly increase costs seem way too much - a 30% increase in a year, pushing me to lower coverage & question the company. I would’ve switched insurance companies but my dog developed a condition after starting with them that I knew other companies wouldn’t cover because it’d be pre-existing. Starting costs are slightly below others (though unsure of yearly increases) & they’ve been nice when I’ve had to call which is why my rating isn’t lower.

Pets Best has been amazing. The claims process is easy to navigate and understand. Reimbursement was quick. They have provided us with peace of mind that our puppy will be able to receive the best care if and when it is needed.

Super high yearly premium and relatively high yearly deductables. Onece you start a policy with them, you are locked into their company forever because if you change companies, anything you need covered will be considered a "preexisting condition".

I am pleased with this coverage, and customer service. It's easy to submit a claim right from your phone. Explanation of benefits (EOB) is broken down in an easy to understand format.

I’ve never had a claim denied for either of my two cats who both, unfortunately, were diagnosed with small cell lymphoma. One passed after 2years of treatment but the other is doing very well since diagnosed in 2021. My claims have usually been paid promptly. My most recent claim was processed & paid within 10 days.

Insurance premium increased 4x for this year compared to last year. WOW. You sign up then they get ya..... Was happy before receiving the ridiculous/unsustainable rate increase. We expect a nominal increase as time goes by, just not a 4x increase.
