“So far I have no measurable complaints with Pets Best. They offered me fair coverage for my 9 year-old stray, and have covered everything I would have expected them to given the policy declarations. We are only a couple months in to the policy with only one active claim, but nothing but expectations met 100% of the time has been my experience.”

“My policy provides wellness and illness coverage. I’m happy with what’s covered. The claims process has been problematic on 2 of the 4 claims I’ve submitted. The 1st. At least 3 uploads of the same vet’s invoice to get date of treatment read and payment recognized. The 2nd: I submitted a claim and it wasn’t looked at for several days and I needed to resubmit the same exact claim and upload to start the claim process. I suggest when a claim amount is reduced because of prior claims, please supply the dates and amounts and coverage because all are labeled ‘wellness’ and it’s difficult for customer to determine the wellness ‘sub-coverage and classification limits as vaccination, diagnostic and preventative have separate coverage limits, and all are part of pet health appointment checkup.”

“The process of allocating the deductible is very shady. The deductible should be applied to the first $500 in bills(in my case) but you deduct the co pay at the same time so it takes longer to get through the deductible. Very smart on your part but very shady and makes Pets Best very untrustworthy. Then you don’t cover some things that should clearly be covered. Paying over $100/month I expect more honesty.”

“Takes a while to get through on the help line, but very helpful when I got connected to someone. I get this insurance via work and used it for the first time last week. Very easy online process, I just filled in a simple form and unloaded the invoices from my vet. Paid out $7,500 this week with no arguement. Couldn't be happier with the service”

“We have had Pets Best insurance for several of our dogs for the past 6 years. We have been very happy with everything. It has saved us thousands of dollars in vet care. The claims process is easy. Most times the processing time is quick. I highly recommend Pets Best. They offer an emergency only plan that covers emergency sitations like hit by cars, snake bites, lacerations, etc. This coverage is less then $20/month. It is a must have for every pet parent on the planet. Having insurance for my dogs gives me peace, knowing that my pets are covered should an illness or injury arise.”

“I requested some pre approval advice / assisentence on a procedure for my pet AND STATED THIS WAS NOT A BILL BUT WHAT WOULD BE COVERED OR NOT... YOUR REPLY WAS NOT A GOOD CLAIM ????”

“Long delay in claim processing. If I had not called Pets Best to find out they make no further effort after making a “records request “ to my veterinarian, the claim would have closed. My veterinarian had not received any notice of records request, had to call Prts Best themselves to find out where to send records. Once they did, claim was paid at less than half of total bill was reimbursed to me. Do not waste your money paying this insurance company. I am cancelling my insurance now and will put the $143 a month into an emergency fund.”
