“Mighty mince is an excellent product, but unfortunately only two stars awarded as the delivery information on the website is incorrect and requires updating. Customers should be aware that raw food will only be delivered to post codes that have 24 hour delivery options and this is non negotiable, despite the option to pay for increased postage prices to more remote locations.”

“Absolutely changed my dog from a “picky take it or leave it” eater, to dancing around as soon as I pick up his bowl and cleaning it within seconds of it going back down. Have also had lots of compliments about how fit he looks with his shiny coat.”

“My two are raw fed but they don't do veggies etc. I thought I'd give this ago with the power balls. They are reluctantly eating it so still early days. The food looks great it's my two that are the problem.”

“I am absolutely blown away by the difference in my cats. I have a cat with an overactive Thyroid who has been on special food, that he won't eat, so it's been mixed in with normal cat food, he was constantly asking for food and most of it came out the same as it went in. I found your site and ordered, he ate the food straight away and within 2 days I noticed he was not asking for food constantly and I probably clean out the litter tray once a day not every hour!!! He is calm, relaxed and appears so much happier. I am over the moon.... Thank you!! My other cat took a while to get used to it but now loves it and both their coats are starting to shine without being greasy!! I'm about to order more. My other cat wasn”

“Found this in the freezer in ASDA and decided to see if my pampered little princess would actually eat it. She is incredibly fussy and usually eats a food once then refuses. 3 months in and she adores her meatballs. The discovery of the Wild Boar pnes has made her a very happy spoilt little fluffball! Great quality, good delivery on the subscription and my dog actually eating them means we have a very happy pooch and owner!”

“For me Poppys Picnic stands out from the competition. Always great and friendly customer service and the frozen food delivered on time. My two Havanese Milo and Harry go further, always excited by the prospect of meal times, they love the variety of food and there is NEVER any food left in the bowl. They say woof woof to the treats too!”

“I didn't know where to start with a transition to raw food and Poppy's picnic made it incredibly easy. It's fair to say my miniature daxie absolutely loves her new food (spins in circles ahead of a very cute paw lift when it's meal time!). She's been eating Poppy's picnic for a couple of weeks and her coat is unbelievably shiny and smooth and she's alot more energy! I only wish I found out about this sooner :)”

“Food came but was almost defrosted it was a odd colour the meatpink inside but brown outside surely should be pink even the broth had defrosted ! I used the broth but ended throwing in bin even though customer service said it could be refrozen !! So 47 pound in bin so no wouldn't recommend”

Hi Karen Thank you for your feedback. We were so sorry to hear that the delivery did not meet with your expectations. Our boxes are designed to keep the food cold for up to 48 hours and our records show your delivery was within 24 hours. Where some defrosting has occurred and ice crystals are present, it is ok to refreeze the packs. We have more detailed guidance on this in our website FAQs. In the rare case that the entire order is defrosted, it's usually ok to put enough packs for 4 days food straight in the fridge use it, to avoid waste. The difference in meat colour is entirely normal - we don't add gas to keep the meat artificially brown so natural oxidation occurs. Much Kindness Debs and Poppy

“My 2 Dogs love the power balls . Arrived quickly Not keen on the cardboard sleeve … as the food defrosts the sleeve becomes wet and sticks to the sideboard or fridge shelf and a job getting it off Can we have something other than plastic ?”

“Absalutly thee best fresh made proper dog food you can ever feed ure dog , I wouldn't buy anything else 1000% the best The only thing I would love to see from poppy's picnic is more flavours, I've been buying this for a very long time and there hasn't been anything new as in the meals come out , it would be great to see some new meals come out for a change and to have more choice other than that my dog loves ure food and I will keep on buying it for her”
