“After weeks of cajoling with hand feeding and adding paste to his kibble to get him to eat, my puppy took one sniff at his new food and wolfed the lot - licking his dish clean at every meal. Definitely worth making room in the freezer!”

“Raffi, was not happy with the minced lamb, I served it every which way, raw, cooked, raw with butter on it, cooked with grated parmigiana sprinkled on top but no no no. Then I tried the minced chicken, now that was a success, so I think we’ve cracked it there. About the meat balls, are they meant to be served frozen?? Because they arrived defrosted.”

The meatballs are meant to be served defrosted - Our boxes are designed to keep your food cold in transit and if it arrives cold (but not frozen) it can go straight into the freezer. “Lamb is blues favourite. The meat balls makes dinner time so much easier. He’s a fussy boy and for some reason the mashed down meat ball is his favourite. We have tried other taws food but Poppy’s is the one we always come back too. Winner every time”

“My Alaskan malamute Austin is incredibly fussy! Having health issues too really impacts on what we can safely feed him. With Poppys picnic we feel satisfied that we are feeding him great quality food that we know he will enjoy”

“My two Rough Collies have been eating Poppy's Picnic Meat Balls for well over two years now, and I couldn't be happier, we have a regular monthly delivery which is always on time so we never run out. My dogs love the food, they get so excited when they know I am serving up their food, they tend to lie in the doorway watching me, then dance around the room until it is placed down ready to eat.. bowls are always licked clean, they even have to check out each others food to see if one has left any - they never do. I know I could feed them cheaper if I did the raw myself (been there and done it), but I just don't have an hour a day to spend chopping up the raw food. Poppy's Picnic suits us to the ground - get it out the freezer at 11am - 3 packs between them, and ready to eat by 5pm. And they love it - which is the most important part for me.”
