“I had Dr. Shaan Patel as my instructor, the founder of PrepExpert. I really do enjoy how well Dr. Patel manages to teach nearly 600 students very well. It's by no means perfect but it's truly impressive on his end and I do feel like I retained a lot of skills to ace the SAT. I will state that you need to seriously put all your focus in this class because if you happen to miss one day of doing the homework, you end up falling really behind, which is what I suffered and I honestly think maybe a week of some sort of break in between each class would be very helpful. The course price is on the more expensive end of the spectrum, and there's not much of a gaurantee that you'll pass any of the exams as it's all on the student. I will say that this can offer some psychological stress to kids whose parents spent a lot of money for a course that solely depends on the student's ability to master these skills. Yet, I find that the material that PrepExpert goes over really does aid in mastering any CollegeBoard test. For example, one of the best strategies for me was B.O.S.S. (Building your own solution) for English related questions on the SAT. Essentially, you cover up the multiple choice answers, read the question and passage, and construct a hypothesis of what you think the answer is, and then you check the answers and you match your BOSS solution to the answer that best fits.”

“My instructor was Dr.Patel, the course was extremely easy to swallow due to my instructor chopping up the course into segments and making sure he wasn’t laying down to much info on us at once. He persevered through all nasty comments left by intruders and swiftly shifted the classes focus away from it and didn’t get tied up on it himself, he didn’t move on until every student understood how they got a question wrong, I went from 1200s in bluebook tests to 1400s, thank you prep expert extremely well done!”

“I found that my PrepExpert course taught by Mr. Ilia Kolmagorov taught lots of great strategies, especially for the reading/writing section. Before taking Prep Expert, my reading and writing scores were always much lower than my math scores, but the reading/writing strategies helped my reading scores a lot. I also found the re-focusing and self-motivation excercises very good as well, and I used them on my own before taking my practice tests.”

“Ethan was a good instructor who was always fun and helpful. I’m seeing improvements from 1370 to about 1400. The strategies and practice i gained from the course were definitely useful. I think that it would be better if students were separated by their current score, because in my class there were a lot of less smart kids asking questions in the chat and holding back the class.”

“Mr. Ethan Moy has been a great instructor and has really helped improve my English score. I liked the course because I was able to work at my own pace while still having assignments to complete each class, which kept me on track. The lessons were clear, helpful, and easy to follow, and I felt like I was making consistent progress throughout the course. “Vishnu was an excellent teacher at explaining the material. He is thorough when it comes to reviewing example questions and explains them in a way that is easy to understand. The only flaw I have noticed with the classes is that there sometimes is not enough time to go over homework within the given class time. There are office hours where someone will help you with any questions you may have, but I felt they were inconvenient for me. Other than that, I'd HIGHLY recommend taking this course for the techniques that they teach. I've been applying them on the practice SAT tests, and my score has already been increasing!”

“My instructor was Vishnu and he was very helpful during my sat improvement journey. I was taught various strategies that were actually helpful for my time management and accuracy. The most helpful strategy for me was the boss solution, however there were various other techniques that I found really useful during the test. I also really liked the practice sat tests because I thought they helped me understand how the test is going to work and helped develop methods to use for when I take the sat test. However I do think that 3 hours is difficult to maintain attention to during the online classes.”

“I think prep expert is a good course because it gives a lot of homework to keep the students practicing and many practice tests to see improvement. Also prepexpert offers multiple different dates of when you can take the course which is also helpful ebcause it allows any participant to be able to fit the classes into their schedule. My instructor was Taylor Trautwein, she was always very nice and upbeat even though we had an early class. She made sure to get to every students questions no matter what and continously ask if anyone needed help. Talyor was also able to make us feel comfotable by asking fun questions, involving aspects outside of only SAT. I am taking m first SAT ever on August 22nd and then I will be able to see the effectiveness of the course. But as of now, my pracitce tests have improved. I started off with an 1140 (this was with absolutely no studying. I had never looked at SAT material before.) My most recent pracrtice test being a 1280, although my ultimate goal is a high 1400 to 1500 (1480+). This course helped me get a good start and gradually improve throughout the 6 weeks.”

“The instructor of my class was Taylor, on the PSAT I got a 1060 and on the practice tests I’m scoring 1300s now. I had a lot of fun in this course because the eventual 10 minute breaks let my mind rest for a bit and the questions after the break allowed me to socialize with other people. The only thing that was kind of annoying was that we didn’t have access to the presentations but I understand why, the course is not free so sharing presentations like those will allow other people to just share the information with others.”

“While doing the 6-week flagship course with Taylor Trautwein, it was a fun experience; however, I would say that the strategies could be more or less intermingled with each other to make it easier to memorize. I haven't taken the SAT yet. However, on practice tests, I did improve by 150 points per test.”

“Prep Expert is an amazing program for those who wish to increase their confidence and skills when taking the SAT. Their regime, knowledge, and SAT methods are top notch, helping me increasingly during the process. My mentor was Mr. Kolmagorov. He came to class on time, energetic, and implemented strategies to keep his students engaged such as breathing exercises and humor. I have not yet taken my next SAT, but I am confident that I will do extremely well because my practice tests went from a 1230 to 1490. An increase in a students SAT score will only be a result of their own commitment and hard work. Prep expert provides all the college board valid practice questions, vocab, and practice tests one needs to ace the DAT.”

“I personally believe that this course was something very different and unique from the other prep courses I have been apart of. Mr. Kolmagorov made the class really engaging and really helped me understand that prepping for a test like the SAT takes alot more aspects than just practicing over and over again. His fixation on knowing the subject and developing automated skills really helped me to improve my score on the test, as well as helped me to develop as a student of overall.
