“Our student's online experience with Prep Expert did not yield the results expected. Prep Expert could definitely be a better partner with the parents by providing automated emails of the student's weekly progress. Their login website is geared toward the curriculum not toward updates on progress. A crisp automated email would keep the parent informed rather than in the dark, which is what I experienced. Prep Expert should also consider being honest about the amount of time needed to succeed in their course. The website should say 72 hours of class time. It does not mention the work required outside of the class time. I believe an additional 144 hours of outside of class study is necessary. The time commitment is definitely a summer course only. It asks too much of child during the school year. Our other student had a much better success with a local in-person class with Comprehensive College Prep in Laguna Hills, CA.”

“My instructor Tim Prunyi was a good teacher and he helped us understand and improve. However, the workload was too much for me to complete and I wasn’t able to. I now have to do the materials after the course has ended with the amazing methods taught to us amazingly by my instructor.”

“It was very boring, we could not even talk to the instructors which is a big disappointment. In addition, they don't show many participants in the meeting, so who knows how many people are there. Plus, I have found their tests on other websites which was a big bummer. I will give props to the instructor though because she was nice. That is why I'm not giving them a one start review. Sophia Fitzsimonds was the instructor.”

“Good practice, daniel lee was a good teacher. But I didn't have any of the written answers for the majority of the course, which was then fixed but very annoying”

“I think this prep expert course was helpful. I really appreciated the teacher going over homework questions I didn't understand. Another thing was I liked how involved he was and how any topic we didn't understand, we were allowed to ask questions . Also the amount of homework given was nice because it allowed us to see all the different kinds of problems we'd be dealing with on the ACT. I would definitely recommend this to someone who is having trouble with ACT.”

“I had Josh Rana as a tutor. He was a pretty good teacher but was sometimes got confused on stuff and wasn't the greatest at teaching some things with math. We had Harsh Patel as a substitute twice and he was very good at explaining stuff.”

“I had Mr. Chavez and the class was well taught. However, he goes a little fast so it is hard to keep up for 3 hours. However, strategies are top notch so I recommend. He answers student questions and works through problems. Overall, recommended!”
