We are trying to get a hold of somebody because my son can’t login

My son participated in the PSAT training course this summer (2024). The primary teacher was absolutley fabulous; however, the sub (for 2-3 of the 8 sessions) was extremely disappointing. In comparison, the courses were much less rigorous and time on task was inconsistent. Not only were breaks longer but also the time used to solve a problem was unnecessarily extended. Mistakes were made, time was not well spent (as corrections had to be made) with little confidence and an inability to maintain a captive audience. The overall quality was substantially lower. I feel the sub was not well vetted to lead the classes--from auditory value, tech skills, and content proficiency. For a four week summer course that required dedication and focus from a teen son, I’m very disappointed in the shift to a sub and am much less satisfied with the overall quality of the course.

David Hill was my instructor, my score so far has improved 60 points. I liked the course because the classes are early so they line up with my schedule very well. Unfortunately the amount of homework assignments does not and as a kid with 2 jobs, finals, and sports i simply could not find the time to finish everything

My instructor, Ilia Kolmagorov, was very good at explaining the Reading and Writing SAT sections, but he wasn't as good at explaining the Math sections. Overall, he did well in giving us tips and answering our questions. I would suggest for him to give more math tricks and tips for time management or when you have little time left. Nevertheless, I would recommend it to a friend!

Good information from my instructor Ilia, just be prepared for hours of your time to be dedicated to this course. I did this course during AP exam week, finals week, prom week, and just in general the last weeks of school, and I don’t recommend doing that because it’s non stop work from both school and this course!

Ilia Kolmagorov was my instructor. The class was good but the homework is pretty extreme and the class is fast, but I was able to take some test-taking strategies from the course.

My prepexpert tutor was Ilia Kolmagorov. No fault to the teacher whatsoever, I just have a difficult time understanding things at times, and he was a bit fast pace for my taste. However, we was still a great teacher nonetheless and very attentive and kind to his students.

This class was alright. My instructor, Miguel Chavira, was great, but I felt like the class was too reparative and didn’t provid me with much new information

It was a juicy course with a lot to offer. The teacher was good too as she went into detail with all of the questions asked to review (Emma). However the class I feel is just too long to keep 100% focus the entire time, especially since the course is online. 3 hours I feel is just a little too much and I’d personally suggest doing 2 hour classes with the course being 7-8 weeks long in order to make up for the hour loss of each class.

Olivia Owens was a great teacher. However, the class was not as engaging as it could have been. As a student, you can't really do much as abilities on zoom are limited to chat.

The course is good and provides a lot of useful strategies but still very expensive and not fully worth the money

Our student's online experience with Prep Expert did not yield the results expected. Prep Expert could definitely be a better partner with the parents by providing automated emails of the student's weekly progress. Their login website is geared toward the curriculum not toward updates on progress. A crisp automated email would keep the parent informed rather than in the dark, which is what I experienced. Prep Expert should also consider being honest about the amount of time needed to succeed in their course. The website should say 72 hours of class time. It does not mention the work required outside of the class time. I believe an additional 144 hours of outside of class study is necessary. The time commitment is definitely a summer course only. It asks too much of child during the school year. Our other student had a much better success with a local in-person class with Comprehensive College Prep in Laguna Hills, CA.
