“My proctor was Maryam Garba, I enjoyed her enthusiasm and love for teaching. For me personally, I thought her techniques and way of explaining the English portion was very clear; it made many passages and grammar techniques make much more sense. However, I happen to be one of the people who has a very difficult time understanding math, so it was a bit fast paced. She did explain well and answer questions if she saw them, though it went pretty fast and sometimes I missed my window to ask questions for a certain problem. If you are someone who is into someone a bit more fast-paced, she is definitely amazing and we all love her. It really depends on each person and whether they are more receptive to someone who teaches slower or faster. Either way, I do believe that Maryam was an amazing teacher!”

“I had Shriie as my instructor. She was a very good teacher but the three hour classes got boring about 1 and a half hours in. She explains things very well though.”

“I'd definitely say that Prep Expert's 6-Week SAT Prep Course has helped me to increase my SAT score and improve my timing. Ilia Kolmagorov was a good instructor; he explained the material in-depth and really helped me to understand questions that I got wrong or was confused about. However, I do wish that there was more class time dedicated to going over the lessons and Expert Strategies. Sometimes the instruction given was cursory and I had to go over the material later on my own to gain a full understanding. That being said, I'd still recommend the course to anyone who wants to improve their SAT score and have a better understanding of the concepts on the test and the best ways to take it.”

“The course was worthwhile, and I learned lots of good tips and strategies. Emma is a great instructor and cares a lot about how you are doing in the class and takes the time to explain questions. During my 6-week class, I had another instructor who was very cocky and not great. There is definitely a lot of work to do during the class, but I think it helped me learn not just about the SAT, but also how to study for future tests. Overall, my experience with prep expert was good, and would recommend for other students who are willing to put in the time and effort to study for the SAT.”

“Prep Expert was a great program. Many of the tips they shared, especially for the writing section, helped be better understand my section. My instructor Emma was great. Although I felt the class was not keeping me engaged so much, especially being a 3 hour class, i find many of these tips to be very helpful.”
