“Prep Expert has been able to increase my confidence, and also critical thinking skills throughout the 6 week course. Mr. Ilia Kolmagorov has been a great help because of how straight forward and concise he explains the strategies and also different ways to apply them during the homework we had. Although the course can be rigorous at some times, it has helped me a ton on the SAT and I can't wait to see how much my score can increase.”

“My instructor was Ilia Kolmagorov, and he was very easy to understand and work with. Generally I learned a lot from each class and was able to improve throughout the six weeks. The biggest downside for me was concentrating and focusing during long lectures because sometimes they seemed boring and uninteresting. Overall not a bad class, and it was useful in strategies for learning.”

“The prep expret course is really beneficial to preparing for the SAT. The rigor and working on so many practice tests really helps bring the score up. Ms. Olivia Owens explains practice problems thoroughly. When asking questions though, she doesn't always explain quite as well.”

“My instructor was Olivia Owens, she was really great at explaining content and answering questions. I liked her honest opinions however she talked a bit fast at times so im glad there were recorded videos so i could go back and understand.”

“Olivia Owens is an amazing instructor. She always made sure we understood every problem. If she didn't know an answer, she would come back the next day with an answer and a thorough explanation!”

“Mr. Kolmagorov was an excellent SAT instructor! He cared very much about each student and answered every question that may have been asked. He was very thorough in teaching us important strategies and helping us better understand a question. The only thing I wish was for the answer explanations to be a little more in detail, explaining specifically why a certain answer is wrong (mainly in the reading section) rather than just asking us to assume that some answers don't make sense.”

“Ilia was helpful with the review and added breaks and fun aspects as well. I liked doing writing and reading passages in the lesson and going over them after, I wish we had done more of that. But overall good!”

“Tim Prunyi had a lot of helpful tips to manage time. He also was able to teach us some basic biology as well as some calculus, which helped a lot with the sections that I was struggling with. I do feel like 3 hours is along amount of time per class period and that at points, it could be hard to stay focused. And with time management, I felt like the homework felt pretty overwhelming. But overall, the ACT course was a positive experience and was a good review of necessary material”

“Very good recap of that main topics on the ACT, and tricks to get better at it overall. It didn't cover the harder concepts as much as I would have liked, though. My instructor was Julia Torline and she was very helpful and good at explaining everything.”
