“Kevin and PrepExpert showed us the different types of problems the SAT throws at us and helpful strategies to combat them. Overall, I found Kevin to be an engaging and funny teacher who was able to answer all of our questions.”

“Olivia Owens was my instructor for the last 6 weeks. It was a really good course, and my score has gone up significantly after doing it! Of course, sitting at my computer for 3 hours on my weekends isn't the ideal weekend, but in the end, it was worth it!”

“Mr. Miguel had lots of good tips and tricks for the sat. The classes were long, so i struggled to focus the entire time, but it was honestly a good course where i learned lots. My instructor was very informative and also helped with life advice and was very encouraging. He had a great balance of seriousness while also having a good sense of humor.”

“The course was helpful in terms of giving strategies, and also gave a lot of practice (too much, in my opinion) needed to improve. My instructor, Miguel Chavina, effectively taught us the strategies and did a good job of going over mistakes. A good course overall.”

“My instructor Emma Sayler was nice, and went through a lot of topics, homework, and strategies within each 3 hour class. However, she always went a little fast in my opinion. We had a substitute for two days, Justin, and he made the lessons so much more interesting and engaging. Both are great instructors though!”

“Emma Seyler did a really good job with explaining the material. Sometimes some of the steps were a little harder to explain for her because the reasoning I think just seemed obvious. Besides from that, I think she did really well teaching the content and engaging the students.”

“The ACT Prep course (taught by Ilia Kolmagorov) is rigorous but helpful. Expect it to take up at least 13-15 hours a week for the 6 weeks it takes. The small breaks given during the Zoom meetings are helpful.”

“I had Tessa Gebert for my instructor. She was incredibly kind and patient, and worked through the problems our class needed help on, while also thoroughly explaining why certain answer choices were incorrect vs. correct. She emphasized the use of the PrepExpert strategies, making sure we as students understood the importance of practice of these strategies in order to improve our score. However, while explaining a few problems in the math section, she would sometimes get confused when solving the problem, which ended up confusing some of us, but she eventually solved through it and clarified her mistakes.”
