“They will get you in with deceptive advertising of low-rate then after you move in, they will increase the rate drastically by 30 to 100 % in a few months. Be careful and stay away from them, otherwise you will get ripped off. Please report them to government agencies like the FTC for engaging in unfair and unethical business practices. They are preying on poor people and increasing their stock share prices artificially by increasing rental fees continuously and ripping people off unfairly.”

“i rented a drive up unit online and when i went there 20 minutes later it was a dock 4 feet off the ground not stated on the website so i got screwed and they wont refund me the $29 or the $1 first month fee. i dont care you say its a non refundable fee because thats bad business update your website then. i was told i should have gone to look at it before i signed anything online. thanks for nothing”

“I've been a customer at the 9201 E. Tanque Verde Rd in Tucson location for several years. I recently moved to a larger unit in the same location. The manager, Laci, was very helpful in getting this move set up. She explained everything in detail and made sure I was comfortable with the whole process. She is a great employee for you. I hope she stays a long time. I would recommend this location to anybody needing storage.”

“The original rent on my first 10 x 10 unit started around $40-$65. I’m not sure the exact number at this point in time the rate has been raised to around $260 for the same unit. I also have a second unit that has had a significant run increase. I’ve put in requests with the management which are doing their best but unfortunately having issues because the corporate offer office does not care about its loyal customers, I’ve been renting with them a little bit over two years and tried to work something out but it hasn’t been enough. I’m still paying over $200 for each unit. They advised that I move my belongings and consolidate it into a different unit. I also believe they may have said to switch to a unit with a lower rate , it’s unfortunate that they have such a lack of transparency. You really get trapped in here and people storing their valuable heirlooms or even things they really need but don’t have the space for. They have postponed rent increases if I really put my all into explaining how unfair the situation is, but it’s still not a reasonable price. If I could move my belongings, I would, but I as well as many others have health issues that make this extremely difficult. I’m currently selling the vast majority of my belongings and items that are extremely special to me because I can’t afford this. I’m sure there are hundreds of other people in the same situation dealing with this company.”

“This storage unit company is a bunch of crooks they raise your rent ridiculously they charge you for an auction fee and you pay your bill and don't even get your money back so far I paid a total of $248 dollars in auction fees now they raise my rent again I'll NEVER TELL ANYONE ELSE TO RENT from this company.... COMMON WEALTH....yeah a bunch of common butt h___les...”

“This company is crooked in how they continually raise the fee for the unit…every 3 months!!! They also have a ‘mandatory’ insurance fee- which is just another way to rip you off! Citrus Heights location is horrible!! Disgusting, overpriced units:(”

“I have a storage unit at Public Storage located at 4409 Summer Avenue, Memphis, TN. I recently discovered that there was a leak from the ceiling which had ruined my mattress and headboard, which was right underneath it. From the beginning of reporting it to public storage personnel to solving the problem, Tabitha, Demetrious and Aiesha were considerate, supportive, and efficient; I cannot say enough how much they helped, and how courteous they were to me during what could have been a very bad situation for me. I would recommend this storage facility highly. Suzanne Lea”

“This is not a review for the current staff-- they actually communicate in person and are trying to do a good job. I have been leasing from Public Storage off and on for over a decade. My location at Bolton Road has recently finished renovation of the exterior, but during this time the entry pad to my storage was painted- so I couldn"t access what I needed for work, the manager was poor-- would not return at least 4 of my requests even through another Public Storage employee. I was not wasting my time, so this period went on for months. Once I saw him around 1:30, and he walked up to his apartment on site, and said he was on break. Months later, he later was replaced by employees that you can actually communicate with. He probably was perfect for the renovating owners because he was ignoring most likely all complaints. Rent kept going up from my initial $189 of (so be careful, get the cheapest one you can deal with because your rent WILL go up) They paved the entire site, with no compensation except with increased rents. They did reduce my rent for 3 months (like I mentioned had tried to reach them prior) but now set to increase to $335. My entry lock has been bent for the entire time and I have to use an object to close it. Internet was down so the gate wouldn't open my the app that I have always used, so I was lucky they were there. to help me. I called the 800 number supplied for help, but that was worthless and would go dead. The only communication has been in person at this location. I have had the same features in my storage unit, except now the grounds look newer.... I am going to move.”

“Brick New Jersey facility, Someone broke our lock, spoke to Kym and she got the lock cut off and a temporary lock put on and then came to the unit to remove it so we could get in and put our lock on. Again Kym was grat to work with. Len Minkler”

“I was distraught and very irritable when I went into 4875 S.Mccarrran public storage when I was greeted by Jenea. Jenea did not go into her greetings she was genuinely concerned about my well being which is very human and touching amidst our lower society members. I explained my dilemma and I was directed back to the scriptures for guidance which I needed. In short we need more people like Jenea.”

“The customer service at the Caribou location Stacy provides a very good guide for me to create a new account there. She also provides suggestions from the customer's point of view and actually showed me the actual stoage location.”
