“I have had one or more storage units for over 40 years in various locations throughout the USA (prior military). The services rated from 2-4 stars. However, Public Storage in Manassas Park, VA has earned a 5-star rating with me. Ms. Tanya (site manager) has always provided excellent customer care. She has always kept me informed of changes, returned my calls and responded to my customer needs when required. The Manassas Park, VA Public Storage is always clean, organized and accessible. When I am there working in my unit/s, I feel safe because Ms. Tanya is in her office or a phone call away on the location. Ms. Tanya goes out of her way to provide excellent customer care. She is the #1 reason I continue to do business with Public Storage and have recommended Public Storage to my friends and family. Thank you for your service, Ms. Tanya!”

“When I arrived at the location, I realized it was not the facility I wanted. I immediately called to cancel. After three phone calls, I was told that my money would be refunded. Now, I am being told that I will not receive my refund. It is unbelievable how quickly they take your money but how difficult it is to get it back. This has been a terrible experience, and I am extremely disappointed with the way this company treats its customers. I will never use Public Storage again, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.”

“Ripoff!! Signed a contract in April 2026 for a 10'x10'x8' unit for $81 per month. 4 months later received notice my rate was going up to $115 per month, a 42% increase. Local representative would only say that I was still getting a really good rate. Not helpful.”

“In the first year of renting an outdoor unit it was broken into, they called and informed me about it. Once I got the unit downsized I decided to get an indoor unit for more security, I go to my unit one day, my lock is gone, so I go to the office and ask why my lock is gone and where my stuff is, the girl will not answer me, she basically ignores me I follow her outside she drives to my unit she unlocks it it has been broken into again & I had stuff stolen. This is supposed to be a secured facility but it's not secure, they have no video cameras and they can care less about your belongings and on top of that they raise the rent (without warning) by $35.00 every 6 months. I would not recommend renting from public storage 5275 Gender Rd , Canal Winchester , OH”

“I was happy at first. I've been storing my stuff in Stafford at Public Storage for over 3 years. The price went from under $100 to almost $150 for no reason. Then I got behind one month after losing my job. My payment wasn't considered late unless it was paid after the 5th of the month. But I tried to pay on the 1st and it was $253. It wasn't late yet and they added on over $100 in fees. I called customer service because I couldn't get the property manager. I've left several messages. But we're playing phone tag. Now I owe $458 for 2 months, can't get in touch with anyone to work out a payment arrangement since I got back to work. So, now they are going to put a lien on my stuff after being a customer for over 3 years. I will never store at Public Storage again. I won't refer them to anyone. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen.”

“Two rat infestations and two lesk. Walks mold fiber glass coming off walls No climate control Nails and screws or sharp objects left behind on street left by construction workers every day No water drain blocking front entrance of building”

“Worked with the staff for the Lumsden Road location in Brandon, FL. Dakota and other personnel that I dealt with in person and on the phone were very helpful, knowledgeable, professional and personable. I’m glad to have this option in my area. Thank you!”
