“so, this my follow up review for ms paula at facility #23058 in elgin il 830 steel street. i feel like family and look forward to talking to and seeing ms paula. there's no okay hurry up and get out. if she has the time she bothers to chat with you, if she has information relating to other than storage she happily shares it. if my car cover gets loose ms paula makes sure it is intact and lets me know so i can take care of the challenge. ms paula is a people person. i am blessed to know her and you would be to if you meet her and would want to rent from her. lovingly ms pat w”

“TERRIBLE customer service! I have a moving van waiting to move my stuff into a storage space, I went over to the office to pay for the first month and get my unit number, and no one was there. It has now been THREE HOURS that I have been trying to reach someone, left many messages, and no one will call me back. Worst customer service ever and I will never rent a unit from this useless company again. I use a storage company 6 months every year, and I will go back to my previous company who was fantastic but a mile farther away.”

“I recently had the pleasure of working with Janean from Public Storage/East Cheyenne and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Janean’s excellent customer service was second to none. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail provided, it definitely exceeded my expectations. Janean’s positive attitude made the atmosphere there so very pleasant and inviting. Public Storage is a game changer. It’s everything I was looking for, Janean was extremely helpful making the onboarding procedure very easy. Her detailed explanations of entire process left me assured that I made the right choice. “Store 7601 I was having a time ending a contract I just started over the phone. When I arrived on location I could see personal vehicles parked next to boats, rv's, and work trucks in very tight quarters with no defining marks for clear spacing. I wanted to cancel the hour old contact but met with resistance over the phone. The manager however turned out to be a life saver. She understood and had just recently brought these very issues up with a higher up. Her general pleasant and professional demeanor helped diffuse my discomfort. Thank you Donnetta.”

“Two representatives (Michael & Tosheba) of the Public Storage facility located at 3748 Covington Highway in Decatur were instrumental in the resolution of a sticky and unfortunate situation. A contractor wrongfully placed a substantial amount of my personal property in storage under his name. These representatives, with the approval of their manager, assisted with the relinquishment of the contractor's contract and arrangements for me to enter into in a contract under my name for the same as it should have been from the inception. They handled the situation with the utmost professionalism and expediency. I greatly appreciated their assistance.”

“My bank changed my card to the new kind with chip. I forgot to change it and my payment didnt go through ughh! I got a call from Danny down on 9th in broken arrow, she helped me fix it right away !! I called the number and fixed it!! I am in Montana and it really gives me a peace of mind to know they aint gonna wait til next payment is due to tell you !!! I called her back to let her know i fixed it and she verified my payment on her end whew!!!!! Thank you Danny for being so sweet and understanding!! Ps It was nice not being treated badly for your card being decline!!!”

“My rent continued to increase. I live across the country and was unable to move it out for some time. It rose to over $200 for the small unit! I finally got it into a new storage company. The rates in the new spot are $50-$65 for a LARGER unit!! This poor experience was at Public Storage 10315 SW Barbour Blvd. I feel like they are crooks. I had a much better experience with PS in Florida.”

“RIP OFF! I started my rental 4/2/23 with a (supposed to be) online special 10x25 for $160/month. May 23 the rent increased to $180! Then 3 months later in increased to $246. A few months later it increased to $294! Today marks one year I've been renting! Within one year my rent has increased $134 which is absolutely ridiculous! I called and spoke with someone in the escalation dept. She tells me they can increase the rent 6months-a year anytime with no cap on how much! Offered to reduce my rent back to $246/month for 3 months then it will go back to $294 and continue to increase as much as they want it to! You guys are r***** people! Your CUSTOMERS are the people that is keeping your business open! Regardless if it is a month to month basis, you shouldn't take advantage of this! I'm about to move my things and would not recommend anyone using storage facilities such as this one if you don't have to. Some people don't have a choice and these people feed off of that! It's outrages and I will be speaking with my friends at the city commissioner's office and some others to find out what we can do about these ludicrous contracts and these online promotional SCAMS!”
