I have had a rental unit for about 10+ years. The rental unit was fine. However now that I haved out contacting you is impossible. I want auto payment stopped. The account number is 19205706 the space was 1554 at the Surprise facility off Waddell Road. You computer cannot fine the account and you offer no way to speak to a live person. I am sure that this cost effectice to you, but is definetly not customer service for your customers. For that reason I would tell anyone not to use your facilty facility

Public Storage in Colorado is a huge rip-off in my experience. I have two units in Loveland and I’m paying $300+ more per month per unit than someone moving in today for the same unit types. DO NOT RENT FROM PUBLIC STORAGE. Look at the Facebook threads calling out this practice — they keep citing “market comp price adjustments.” Feel free to join the countless Facebook Pages/Groups dedicated to this horrible excuse for a company. Everyone from Public Storage has lied to me about how they operate, and how they price people. Their call center told me rate increases happen “maybe once a year.” I’ve lost count of how many I’ve received this year alone, including last month. Public Storage — are you going to fix this (match existing customers to your public rate for the same units) or keep operating this way?

These are the worst people to deal with when it co.es to custo.er service. They hike up the rent on a regular basis. Go anywhere but here!!!

Never rent from this company. They will raise you rate every 6 months until they force you out. This is the worst business model I have ever experienced. Be careful.

It is important to understand, and take into account, that Public Storage management can set one up for theft! I was a victim of theft to the tune of ~$20k. Police were brought in to assign a case number; however, videos for some reason were not available. Imagine that... Public Storage Corporate Office also ignored the incident. Before one goes signing storage agreements with Public Storage one will be best served to read the negative reviews and consider selecting a storage company that is more accountable, reliable and trustworthy.

I have been a loyal customer at Public Storage for two years, never missing a payment. While I was in the facility the other day, the very helpful staff person let me know that my exact unit was going for half the price of my current unit, and the only way I can get access to that price would be to transfer all my stuff from one identical unit to another!! I was offered a very small discount -- for three months, but the fact that I can't enjoy the price that someone walking off of the street would obtain seems just ludicrous to me.

Signed up for the "Memorial Day Sale" 50% off for the life of the rental. Only 90 days in and the rent has increased by 50%! Soon I'll be paying more than the place I left. Bait and Switch, Bait and Switch, I'm disappointed that I fell for such surreptitious and dishonest business practice. Avoid at all costs

Drove 45 min to get to unit and door code would not work. Manager came out to let me in after I showed my contract info. Then when I got inside second door with help of manager I couldn’t get the electronic lock open because there is no Wi-Fi and inside a steel building I had NO reception so when I called customer support and got someone who spoke broken English they offered to reset code and I explained I had already returned home and just wanted to cancel my rental and get a refund but was told I would be charged a $30 cancellation fee after my refund of the rental. I never got a chance to even use the rental as it was the first day of the rental period. I will never use or recommend public storage ever!

Our storage facility was bought out by Public Storage. What a horrible company! First we were NOT notified of the change. Second, when I finally figured out what was going on, I could not get get anyone to answer the phone. Last, they jacked up our rate over $25 a month, again without notice. Stay far far away from this disreputable company.

Public Storage raised my storage unit rent from $119 to $166 from Jan to Jul. They just said there was a demand for the unit, so they raised the price.

I rent my truck and hire help only to find that the unit 10’x15’ drive up unit has a 36” roll up door 😡, I rented a an outside 10’x10’ at the same location and it had a normal garage door. All they had to do was state the small access door. I had to cancel my truck and labor. Then on top of that they charged me $29 for canceling when it was there mistake 😒 I guess it was my fault for trusting Public Storage 😐

BE AWARE!! I gave a glowing review when I first came 6 months ago. The people at Fort Mill, SC were excellent and so helpful, and the price was right. I have to change my review. In the 6th month, my rate was increased by $44 a month. This is because you are signing a month-to-month lease. I am told that $44 more is the market rate. But consumers, BE AWARE. The problem is if you are thinking just for a year, and they change it are you going to go to the trouble of moving 6 or 7 months in? No. Had I known this would happen I would have never come to Public Storage.

I rented a unit in January 2025 in a promotional rate. It was in a good location, the size I needed and the rate was within my budget. The promotion was for the 2nd month free which i did not get a whole month free. Within 4 months the rate for my unit increased by 25%and the Store managers request for exemption was denied. After speaking with 2 different customer service agents they offered me a1 time discount of $60. I actually recieved less than that. I am a senior citizen. The storage is for my 94 year old Dad. I explained that the same unit, a little further South, was renting for $70 less. I was told it's not personal, it's just business. Well, it's personal to me! I am not a first time public storage customer, but it will be the last time! On the positive side, all the store managers I have fair with have been great! I give them a 5 star review!

If I could give this place zero stars I would . The unit was fine and the people that work there were great. It was when we went to move out that the issues began. We tried to move out on the 31 st of the month which was a Sunday. We couldn’t get anyone in the office so I went online and did it . Shocker … it apparently never went through. I then called the corporate office and they told me I had to pay for the next month(it was auto drafted out of my acct). I explained the situation to the person in the phone , which apparently was the highest manager available and he told me they wouldn’t refund my money. We had been with them for four years , never once missed a payment and he refused to help. Do not waste your money, no matter how good the deal seems . There are plenty of other storage places around with amazing customer service . This is NOT one of them .
