After we had moved our stuff into two units they soon got rid of the on site manager who had been quite helpful. Now there was ablip on our payment (credit card expired but payment was made ) they gaft me for $40. If you call you now get a chinese woman in God knows what country that barely speaks english. Looking for another site soon.

The most disgusting company I ever dealt with. They are holding my possessions hostage because I lost padlock key. We are headed to court.

They have taken customer service out of the equation. The locations that do have a person working there, the employees don't speak even when you are speaking to them. The have made there site office resemble a prison size booth, where you have to stand and speak to a person who is at their home through a very irritating video monitor on the wall and positioned so that you are uncomfortable viewing the monitor and bending to see or key in your information. I had to kneel down with my medical boot on one foot and my leg devise on another to speak to someone through a video and see what I was keying in as if I am in a a prison cell or something. I went to pay my bill that has gone up $60 on each of my units without notice, that's $120 and I haven't been their a year.

I was taking care of Mom's billing when I started looking into her Public Storage at 1530 sw 119th Oklahoma City and seen that they have raised her rates 2 times in less than 1 year and cense then they have tried to bully her into putting insurance on a inside unit screwing up her credit card info and charging a late fee when you tried to call the sorry excuse for management ether don't know how to fix any problem or there computer system goes down and give you there customer help line that never gets answered you will have better luck storing you thing in your back yard under a tarp than P-S whitch stands (Piece of Sh*t Storage) instead of Public Storage Help future customers by talking about customer service, price, delivery, returns & refunds. the best way to help future customers is to warn them away form this horror of a crooked place just venting because I doubt this ever makes it to print

Do not use Public Storage! Within a year the fees have went up! May 2022 was $255.00 for 10x30 storage, in Sept 2022 fee went to $311.00, January 2023 fee went to $326.00, and now August 2023 fee is $373.00!!! 🤬 Whatever happened to customer loyalty? Obviously, they're ready for me to move to a new storage company instead of stay with them! 🙄

If you want to throw your money away you give it to public storage. I would have felt a whole lot better given it to a casino. Let long just throwing it way at public storage. When it is storage unit they lied about a lock. My storage unit this particular day was All my sons they were the ones couldn't even get into public storage but they said that I did and that I also had a lot refuse to give me my refund because they said that I did not contact them. Oh that went on over and over one day two day three days in advance. What a crock of and what a hell of a. If I could give them no stars I definitely would beware of this company!!!!!

They have astronomical rent increases. Mine went up $75 from one month to the next. No warnings, just a notification that your new monthly payment is $375 instead of $300. It started at $245 and went up slowly first, but last increase is ridiculous. Employees on site have to power to change and when you call corporate they say that they can raise the rent to market rates anytime. oddly enough you can go online and rent the same unit for $245.

Within 4 months of renting space at Public Storage in Excelsior, Minnesota, we got a notice telling us they are raising our rates by 40%. Before I signed on with them, I asked if they were going to "bait and switch" with a higher rate in a few months. "Oh no, we wouldn't do that."

They did a bait and switch and raised my rent twice in 10 months. I am paying $200 more than what I signed. They do not answer calls or respond to emails

Public storage is a scam and does not care about its customers. I am speaking specifically about the business in Matthews, North Carolina. They give you a decent rate for a few months then jack up the price on the unit. I ended up paying more than double in a very short time. After traveling 14 hours to retrieve my belongings for the last time I couldn’t access my pod. I had no outstanding bill but my gate code was not working. I called customer service they told me to go to the main office which I did and although the the sign in the window said open the door was locked and no one was there. I called the number and did get ahold of a manager but was told that an appointment needed to be made because they did not have employees to work and were short staffed. There was no communication about this whatsoever and I wasted a lot of time driving down to get my stuff after not wanting to pay their ridiculous prices anymore. I requested that someone come down to allow me in to my unit WHICH WAS DURING OFFICE HOURS AND WAS REFUSED and told I need to make an appointment. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND FIND A PLACE THATS NOT A SCAM!

Watch your back. Public Storage raised our monthly rental by 95% over the course of 2 years (Aug.2020-Aug.2022)!! And it was not a teaser rate to begin with - $221/mo. for a 10x15 unit went up to $431 in a series of steep increases. The local manager was very nice but has no control at all over pricing. And to rub our noses in it, we were directed to talk to their "We Care" team. Ironic name or just giving the finger to the customer? I say we/our above because the rental was for a small, local nonprofit organization displaced by the pandemic. We found much cheaper rental space elsewhere. We are OUT OF THERE and will NEVER approach this company again. Sadly, this industry is unregulated, so predatory pricing is legal, if unethical.

This company is a complete scam. You'll only pay advertised rate for a few months and then they'll raise it a hundred or more dollars. Avoid them or short term use only.

Raised monthly rate from $127/month to $156/month after a few months. Then found out online same size unit same location renting for only $68/month. Asked to get this rate but told me I had to rent a new unit and then move everything. I did but this ridiculous. The told my rental price will go up in a few months for the new unit. No way to lock in rates for at least a year. Doesn’t make sense.

All they do is raise the rates, ever few months. Over and Over! They have done this repeatedly to me over the past year, and I have three large spaces. You would think they would treat best customers as best customers. NOT so!

No refund! Be aware that if you vacate in the middle of the month, even if you notified Public Storage over 30 days in advance of this, they will not refund you for the unused remainder of the month. In other you must pay through to the last day of the month, even if you wish to vacate before then.

Public Storage raised my rent $50 a month a while back and they will probably raise it again. I have made several trips to my third floor climate controlled this month and noticed that it was really hot up there. It feels like the heater is running, it’s 70 outside right now in San Antonio at 6:00PM. The young woman said that the thermostats have been raised to 85 degrees per corporate. The email I sent said someone would reply within 12 hours, it’s been 24. Most of the people that I have encountered are really nice people but Public Storage management that make these decisions are the lowest of the low. Greed seems to be so pervasive, it really saddens me. You would think that with the expansive flat roofs on these facilities that they would install solar panels. That will never happen.
