“Your chocolate is the worst chocolate I’ve ever tasted , bought a box £16 for my grandson 13 yr old who has a dairy intolerance, he tasted one piece and said grandma it’s awful , I tasted had to agree, the rest is still in the box be going in the bin . NoMo chocolate is my grandson’s favourite I can testify for a non dairy choc it’s 5 stars”

“I bought a nicely packaged box with a selection. As a diabetic I was very interested in sugar content and taste. I saw this on Dragons Den. I purchased via Amazon - not sure if this was via them or not. I received defective chocolate -broken and discolured in each and every bar - awkward and strange texture -something very wrong. No answer from Amazon seller. Contacted manufacturer and they started playing games and referring me to seller. This attitude infuriates me as this is not down to the reseller -this is clearly a manufactruring issue so all roads lead to the maker of the chocolate. The seller will go back to the manufacturer. Given that the reseller has not replied -it was in my view a time to step up and assit the end user of the product -rather than supplying disingenuous responses. I really though they would assist in these circumstances and send me an unspoiled edible product. No more or no less than ordered. Just a gesture. Not a chance.”

“Mine didn’t come in a nice box like everyone else’s seems to, it just came loose in a packing for delivery box. The chocolate I was really looking forward to, but what a disappointment, it tasted like that fake cheap cooking chocolate you used to get years ago. I had one bite of the mint and spat it out. I then thought maybe I’d been too hasty and it might’ve just been that one flavour, no, I tried the Cherry the next evening and the cherry flavouring tasted medicinal along with the same as before cheap fake chocolate. I thought for £20 it would be great, endorsed by dragons den and seemingly high reviews. I can only imagine they were given better chocolate because this is horrible.”

“Absolutely vile. I am a chocolate lover but this is just disgusting. Horrible chalky texture with a synthetic taste which actually made me feel sick. It’s no wonder my Mum gave it to me with a little bit missing from every bar!”

“Don’t Buy This Chocolate! I was so excited to buy this chocolate. Bought the full sample set as a treat for us. What a disappointment. This is the worst chocolate I’ve tasted. It doesn’t even taste like chocolate. The flavours are foul. It leaves an awful after taste in your mouth, kind of like a gritty film. I have no idea who is rating this stuff highly but we tried one bite of the first few and then threw the rest of the bars away. I’ve never thrown chocolate away. Save your money and avoid this.”

“I’m diabetic and my partner is gluten free so I bought the box of 8 mixed milk and dark, I couldn’t wait to try it seeing as it’s very low in sugar, what a disappointment, no taste at all, it’s like licking the plain flour, leaves a chalky texture in your mouth, I honestly think the box it came in probably tastes better. 0/10 from us both, wast of 15 odd quid”

“Same as all the other one star reviews. Doesn’t melt in the mouth, chalky feel, flavours are uninspiring, the least satisfying chocolate I’ve ever eaten. Feels like an ordeal to eat it, in fact I’m throwing away the rest of my variety box, just can’t be bothered. Normally with chocolate I can’t wait to eat it, with this it feels like I have to work up to it. Waste of money, don’t bother.”

“The ‘chocolate’ has an unpleasant feel and the flavours aren’t convincing. They really are not something I’d go back to for a sweet hit. I’m still getting a horrible taste repeating on me an hour later.”

“Beautiful packaging heightens expectations. Unfortunately the "chocolate" tastes of nothing apart the flavoring used in this case mint. Really don't like the sound of the sweeteners used and feel sugar would be better. If you have to buy this for health reasons I feel sorry for you. But proper chocolate if you can.”

“We’ve tried both the milk and dark varieties. But sadly, having great expectations, it’s not chocolate. There’s a chalky feel to each square, definitely doesn’t melt in the mouth and then one is left with a very, very dry mouth. We bought several bars in one go because of the postage. But unfortunately it was a bad buy.”

“I am sorry to be negative but this wasn’t chocolate. I tried the coconut flavoured bar but only managed one square. The aftertaste was horrid. My husband had bought a box of mixed flavours and I have never found it so easy to stay away from his chocolate stash.”

“Absolutely awful with terrible after taste to me which lingers for ages unfortunately. I've tried three of a large box of these for Christmas so far and not encouraged to carry on. A shame as I imagine they were expensive and promising with interesting flavours. A problem with combining allergy requirements - if you remove dairy, sugar, gluten at the same time. I imagine the issue here is the nasty sweeteners. Disappointed.”

“The White Chocolate on this occasion seems to taste of fatty lard flavour and slightly waxy consistency, with hint of stale fat in the after taste and completely inedible. Dear Pure Heavenly… I tried a second bar of your white Chocolate and that too has a stale fatty waxy taste and consistency of which I personally find quite inedible. Please advise what action I can take to redeem my purchase cost. This bar too will have to be disposed of unless you requested it to be returned. In your previous reply you had said that investigators would check into the batch and see if there is this problem with present batches. I kindly sent you an image of the Chocolate bar and it’s batch number, please can you tell me your results. Please tell me how to receive a refund for the inedible White Chocolate bars. Thank you and waiting patiently…”

“I would give 0 stars if i could. Looked fed to trying the variety of flavours and opened 3 bars from taster box. Unpleasant waxy ferl and got horrible after taste so checked ingredients, noted a warning that excessive consumption may cause laxative effect- which is normally included in artificial sweeteners which i am opposed to. I chose this product for its promoted health and ethical values. Checked ingredients further and noted sorbitol, sucralose and polydextrose in ingredients. Totally shocked!!! All extremely bad for you. I feel the website has not been transparent, i have asked for full refund as i cannot eat them nor would i gift them. Extremely disappointed with dragons den recommendation too.”

“Unfortunately it is flavour free too. Wax like texture…doesn’t melt easily. This stuff is absolutely terrible! I was so disappointed after the rave reviews from Dragons Den….what had they been smoking to give this stuff the thumbs up!? Avoid at all costs!”

“Due to the company being supported by Dragon Den and the expectation of a superior chocolate as it has a very high price tag . I was bitterly disappointed by the product. Beautiful good quality packaging but the product absolutely disgusting. Looks like chocolate tastes nothing like chocolate. I look for dairy free products and if I can sugar free. It is difficult to find the combination of both. Vegan chocolate great ! Sainsburys sugar free choc not bad. So what’s wrong with it? Taste bland dark coffee no coffee taste in fact all of the flavours ordered sooo bland. The texture is also soooo wrong . It has a fine grainy texture as you eat it probably due to two fibre ingredients added. Why? Lastly the aftertaste is really horrible I had to eat good old Lindt chocolate afterwards to help take the taste away. Chocolate lovers stay well away from heavenly NOT chocolate.”
