I used Purple parking at LGW for a week in January 26 and was extremely happy with the service I received. The cost was extremely competitive. The arrival process was efficient and friendly. There was a shuttle bus waiting at reception, and the journey to the North Terminal took about 10 minutes, with another 5-10 minute walk from the bus stop to the terminal. The return process was equally slick. A short wait for the shuttle bus and I was transferred back to reception to pick up the car from friendly reception staff. Within 5 minutes I was on my way. I will certainly continue to use Purple Parking services and recommend you to others. Thank you.

Easy to book, very good price. Simple arrival procedure and easy to find. Staff were very helpful when we realised we had left a phone in the car after we got to the terminal - they recovered the phone and got it to us in the terminal via their bus driver. Thank you!

Paid the required fee through Holiday Extra as advertised, but missed the small print saying there would be a surcharge if your vehicle was classed as a commercial ( Nissan Navara, not used for commercial purposes). On arrival at the desk met with , ‘you owe an extra £400 pound surcharge’ I tried arguing the case and the bill dropped to £350, £300, £250 and finally £200. I wasn’t expecting a surcharge as you knew the make model and colour of the vehicle when booked and secondly I wasn’t expecting to haggle over any prices until I started my holiday abroad. I hold my hands up to missing the ‘ surcharge ‘ on the initial booking, but when presented with a price and pay that price, knowing you have my vehicle details, it leaves a very bad taste, feeling that you have been had over and fleeced by a middle man. Manager informed me that there was a surcharge as they did not accept commercial vehicles, even though there was a row of similar vehicles parked outside the office. If I had more time I would have left with my vehicle and taken it somewhere else, however the trip and journey had been timed perfectly, leaving me no option but to pay the ‘surcharge’. I have used Purple parking several times in the past and even parked another Nissan Navara there several years ago without a surcharge. On principle now this will be my last time.

Really easy to park in the multi-storey car park at Manchester Airport with number plate recognition. Have been using purple parking for a long time, always good, have never had any problems.

Disaster trying to find drop off at Gatwick in the dark and rain. Directions were poor and what three words was not accurate and took us to a spot outside the Premier Inn! Barrier did not lift automatically. Reception staff totally ignored us initially and then were very dismissive and unhelpful. On the upside there were no issues when we collected the car and the different staff were helpful.

Early flight out from Heathrow so we stayed at Radisson Red nearby with parking for the duration at the hotel. Then took Hoppa Bus to terminal. You keep car keys so car remained were left. EV charging in car park too.
