I am writing to raise a formal complaint about the unacceptable service I received from your airport parking shuttle on my recent return from holiday. When we arrived back, the bus driver refused to stop at the correct bus stop for our car park. Instead, we were taken two stops past our actual stop, forcing us to walk approximately 35 minutes with our luggage to reach our car. This was extremely inconvenient, especially after a long journey, and it is not the level of service your company advertises.

The signs to find the car park were not very clear. Everything else worked out fine for the price.

Very hard to find the Car Park for Luton Airport as “Purple Parking” signs just stop. We eventually found it was in the Airparks Parking site. Self Park Spaces are very tight for our Kia Sportage. Transport to Airport was good. What was not so good is the Transport from airport back to car as it was 2.00 am and freezing cold and the first bus was full and told another would arrive in 7 minutes (It was 30 minutes before the Bus came and everyone was absolutely frozen). Not a good Service at all and probably not be using again.

When I booked purple parking an offer of £54 was advertised, I was surprised to be charged £80. There were no instructions on how to get to the car park but plenty of promotional emails - not helpful. When I phoned to ask about instructions I was told to check my confirmation email that only gave an address and postcode & I had to search for that.

The staff were great and the driver was there to take the car and there with the car when we asked. Car was fine and happy that it had been looked after. The only problem was it is quite a long walk from the car park to Departures especially as it was very cold and raining when we left and cold when we returned. Perhaps not such a problem for young people but for older people with a disabilities it is too much of a hike. There is a nearer car park cannot that be used?

The postcode you provided took us to the wrong place so we were charged the £7 fee. The man who met us was SO rude!

The booking showed a picture of summer parking, which is misleading. The actual booking confirmation mentioned long stay North Gatwick. We rang latter but booking reference was by holiday extras. So worrisome time for us, ringing long stay north who said if anpr recognises car it should be ok ....

Once we found you at Manchester all went well BUT actually finding where you were was not easy. Airport signage did not clearly show where to go to get to the car park you identified in your instructions.

Very efficient on return, friendly staff and smooth collection. However drop off was really tricky as we could not find where to drop the car off - what three words took us to the wrong place and we had to go round THREE times before we finally found the discreet maple parking booth on level 4 at Terminal 5. We were becoming concerned we would NEVER find you and that we would miss our flight leaving us no option but to use long stay parking at huge cost. Fortunately another parking company told us how to find you.

Have used purple parking meet n greet loads of times, but now they have split where you pick your keys up from (T2) the signage for meet n greet reception is more obvious than the specific area for certain pick up points so ended up going to the wrong place to collect my key, when before it was simple

I like the ease if purple parking but after exiting the gate they said I need to pay an additional £40 as I was over the 5 hrs period. What!!! I put in my flight details so they knew when we were landing I was so annoyed it was 11.30pm and the lady said as I didn't have a physical card to phone a friend to pay the fee!!!! I was like it's neatly midnight. Very bad form!

The drop off was quick and easy. Coming back the bus took a while to arrive at the airport and the route seemed long stopping at various terminals along the way. Not sure where the car had been parked, possibly under a tree but it was covered in what we presume is Sap and had to take to car wash in our return joinery to remove the residue.

Check in fairly straight forward once the agent found my booking. Journey to T2 was quick and efficient. Return from T2 via T3 and then T5 not so enjoyable. Journey time approx 45 mins. Happy to see all was ready to pick the keys up and drive off as soon as I got to the car park.

Quick transfer on arrival at the car park straight to Heathrow T5 as no passengers for other terminals. On return Purple parking is great if you do not mind waiting, On our arrival at Heathrow T5 the bus was just arriving at the bus stop great, No it was full, a few people waiting in line got on we then had to wait a further 25 minutes with a group who also had been waiting for over 30 minutes for the next bus and then the next bus, in the afternoon rush hour the long wait after a long flight you get what you pay for.

We parked at Maple Parking for Terminal 5, very handy and was a short transfer. However when we returned the car was onsite undamaged but looked like it had been parked on a farm! Filthy inside and out, the inside of my Ford Pumas grill is full of leaves, goodness knows where they have come from? I’ll need to remove this now to get them out, not good!
