Really friendly service by staff there. Had to wait a while for the bus to arrive when we got back to the airport but otherwise they were really good. Although it did throw me somewhat when they put the handbrake on the automatic as I had no clue how to take it off again at first.

Affordable parking with decent transfer to Gatwick airport. All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Car was waiting close to the exit ready for when we landed. Will definitely use again. Thank you!

This is not criticism of Purple Parking but of Jet Parks 3 in Manchester. It is quite obvious that this car park is overbooked. There were cars abandoned in places that they should not have been parked - not because there were lazy but because of the sheer difficulty in finding a car parking space! Spaces are not allocated with lines so people are parking with a wider berth than necessary. The car park is mainly gravel which makes it extremely difficult to wheel a suitcase. The buses get very busy too. On the way back we were lucky to just about get on one. The people behind us were left waiting another 15 minutes for a bus.

The staff were so lovely and such an efficient and easy service. I was a bit worried about leaving my keys but it made grabbing the car after a long journey so quick and great having clear instructions as to where to catch the transfer bus.

We have used Purple Parking at Heathrow many times. However on leaving, we spoke to a driver who had significant damage to their car's undercarriage and after driving off site we spotting a chip in our windscreen that certainly wasn't there when we left the car. This makes it difficult to consider using them again.

So easy to use this service as we were directed to a parking space, handed our keys in at reception, got our receipt and walked into the terminal. No queuing or waiting, simple, quick and straightforward.

I have used PP lots over the last few years and have never had an issue. This time we arrived at the barriers and saw that there were signs saying that my type of vehicle (9 seater) wasn't classed as a commercial vehicle even tho we have it because we have a large family. Upon dropping off the keys I was informed that the car would not be insured under the parking insurance because they considered my vehicle to be a commercial vehicle so I would have to pay an additional £25 per day for it to be covered under the insurance. Firstly I have used PP previously with this vehicle and havent had an issue. Secondly, when booking this was not raised on the form when giving details. It's incredibly inconvenient to begin your holiday to be out of pocket by an additional £225 on top of the £160 already paid for parking. Upon returning my car was parked under a tree which was dropping sap and leaves. My car was sticky and I had trouble clearing the windows to be able to see while driving. I won't be using PP again unfortunately considering they have been so helpful and provided an excellent service in the past
