Inability to give accurate delivery dates , in spite of items declared "in stock" I requested a catalogue ,which has not arrived or acknowledged . On-line catalogue needs cross-referencing as to what fits what ? As a "newbie" to model building , matching axles etc, would be useful , perhaps by building examples , indicating ittems used to achieve results.

4 of the 5 small electronic components I ordered on 2nd. October arrived very quickly; however on 11th. October I am still awaiting the 5th. item.This is frustrating for me as I cannot complete the repair until it comes, and is uneconomic for Rapid as 2 lots of postage and packing must be paid for. The component was noted to be "available in 4-5 days"; I have not been further advised when to expect the component

Most deliveries from Rapid Electronics (supposed to be next day delivery) to Scotland take two days, and the tracking details are not very informative, other than saying "delayed". The other major distributors seem to manage next day delivery much more reliably.

Although the original order was despatched very quickly unfortunately it was incorrect. It took nearly 3 weeks and 3 calls to sort out the problem

Ordered wrong bell as the chime system we have is Libra and not Libra + therefore bell non compatable to system. Rang to ask what was available online and a pleasant person in Customer Services put me through to a man in Tech Support whose manner was rather rude i.e. he said "what code do you want" I stated "I dont know that is why I am ringing", then the heavy sigh and then a period as if he couldnt help. As a consequence I did not purchase the chime system from you.

I received a completely different item to what was ordered and pictured on the website, although when I rang up customer services they did offer to take the item back but a bit costly when you pay for the items to be delivered and then have to pay to return them when it's not your fault

Very slow delivery on silicon rectifier diodes ( 5 to 7 days), surely these are basic items which any major distributor would have in stock. I am still waiting for them to arrive Order no 912254 R Fullerton

Web site said various parts where not available for 5 to 10 days, So split order into parts in stock and parts to be sent later. Both orders where filled within 2 days. This means I paid two p&p charges because website stock information was incorrect.

Sent the wrong item because they didn't have what I ordered in stock (when they stated they had)... then they quoted 2 weeks to get the right one. I'm waiting for a refund which at this rate I'll have to threaten legal action to get ... AVOID

I found the information regarding out of stock items misleading, i.e.stock due in 5-7 days when orderd but items not received for over 0ne month because not enough stock was received by you to clear your back orders.

I asked and paid for next day delivery and it took four days. This was one of the times I did need next day. This is considerably slower than the normal delivery. Otherwise OK

Very quick delivery but the goods were not of the specification shown in photographs on the website. In order for me to use them again, Rapid Electronics need to make photographs representative and improve product descriptions considerably. Also, the quality of the goods was rather poor.
