“I inadvertently put down the wrong house number for delivery of a Red Letter Day experience gift card for a friend. When I spotted the error I rang Red Letter Day several times but it always went to voicemail as they were on training. I emailed and got a response to say the amendment had been noted and the item would be dispatched to the amended house number. However My friend received 2 separate Red Letter Days on the same day - one at her home address and one at the wrong address I supplied. Have I been charged twice? Also the voucher numbers are completely different. I paid £4 for a “Deluxe gift box” but it looks far from Deluxe! Disappointing first experience which could well be my last. Not good enough Red Letter Day.”

“Didn’t think it was very clear where I could use the offer for my spa day. It said I had to call a number to book. Tried selling all day and every time it rang a few times then cut off. I had to contact hotel directly. I phoned the hotel and it was an answer phone, left 2 messages but no one phoned me back. Eventually got through to check availability only to be told I had to put it in an email. That was 4 days ago and haven’t heard back. I’m wanting to go in 4 days time!!! This is all before I have had my Spa Experience, watch this space !!”

“I bought the tank ride experience with passenger as presents for a couple. They haven’t used it yet so I can’t comment on that. I found the booking experience clunky and it was difficult to get both presents in one gift box. Annoyingly no telephone number for customer service to sort this out and I had to wait an age to ‘speak’ remotely via the chat line. Finger crossed that aspect now in the post. Not terribly impressed so far.”

“The experience day boasts about the high end cars the recipient can drive, but when you actually go to book the experience day you either don’t have any of those cars available near you or you need to pay additional fees to drive those cars. The recipient also needs to pay additional safety charges so they end up spending the same amount that you have paid for the experience. Not worth it.”

“This is a present for my Niece for her 18th Birthday, she loves horticulture & planting flowers so I’m hopeimg her mother & herself will have a lovely time ! I’m hopeing she will also pass her driving test so she can drive to Beautiful Cornwall!! Very happy I hope she is too!!”

“It's a good idea and worth keeping in mind for a birthday or Christmas gift. The website is not the easiest to navigate if you want to choose where to use your voucher: the location map only highlights the barest of details when you select a venue, then makes you start over to check another.”
