Bought this as a gift and disappointed with the personalised message, the example showed it to be clear and almost like you'd expect to see when you open a birthday card, unfortunately it was very small and crammed into a page full of other information, I may have to use a highlighter so that it can be seen

Waste of money, your hard hard earned money would be better spent elsewhere! Unless you dislike the person you intend to give this to then I would just give them cash as this is pointless. Awful website, crazy expiry dates (wouldn’t get this with a store card) just a pointless company that gives you absolutely nothing, buying this will just annoy the person you give it to!

I purchased this experience for my Dad for Father’s Day and he was very much looking forward to it. However, when it came to the day no one was present apart from the other participating people. He had no notification that the event was cancelled until 7:30pm! Such a shame

I am sorly disappointed with the red letter day that I ordered. I thought that it would be nicely presented in a box, instead it came in a scruffy red envelope. For the amount of money you pay for this gift, I expected a nicely presented gift, instead, I got a load of old tat.

Brought a red letter day had no confirmation e-mail so got in touch with them myself to be told we were a bit busy at it will be sent only to then be refunded and not told. Phoned customer service to be told that they have had issues and use our sister company if I still want the gift with no explanation. Did go elsewhere to virgin experience days. Will never use again.

I bought the Junior Jaguar driving experience for my son last weekend. After waiting a short while I received the voucher to book onto the experience. I phoned the following day to book my son’s place and the phone operative told me that that particular experience had been discontinued and that I needed to phone back in a weeks time to book something else. The alternative offered was not comparable in any way (half hour drive not 90 mins and 4x4 off road car not a luxury sports car). I am SO disappointed, the company took £110 off me knowing they could NOT provide the event requested. This seems like sharp practice to me! Sharon

Voucher isn’t worth the amount that it claimed. When I came to book I found that the experience would have been significantly cheaper had I booked directly yet Red Letter Days made it look like the experience was on offer. Contacted customer services but they haven’t bothered to reply.

Hasn’t arrived in the post yet and no communication to say it’s been dispatched. This has been nearly 2 weeks and I was told it would take 48hrs.

Had to cancel, as the gift box including the voucher didn't turn up even after 6 days. Ruined the my birthday surprise..

Theatre and restaurant voucher. Marco pierre white restaurant is the other side of London from theatre district. its East End not West End, Restrictions on days available for shows. e.g. Motown musical only available mon -wed and not particularly good seats, in the gods. So no good if you work as requires time off to get to and from London. As I suffer from vertigo I asked how much to upgrade to stalls. £25 each - the seats currently on offer directly for date I wanted 10/12/18 at only £35. Haven't tried to redeem marco's voucher yet! The agent I spoke to did try to help but basically the voucher is a waste of money. I have no problems with how she dealt with my call. You would be better off just giving someone cash.

We received a £500 voucher for Red Letter Days. A complicated website to use, you search for “London” and all other parts of the country come up. You also have to do all of the work yourself to book the chosen :"gift", and there is NO GUARANTEE that your voucher will be accepted for the days you want. Just go direct, Red Letter Days are a complicated to use middleman.

They do not tell you the full details, only could book on weekdays but It does not state that in my booking details or on the website only found out when I went to book complete waste of time

Carefully read all the terms of the Experience I brought for my 11 year old boy at Zipworld, the words were " if under 18 a parent must there, not a parent will need to participate!" bearing in mind this would cost me another £50. Spoke to a customer service representative who confirmed this description would need to be amended and that I would receive a refund in a few days 1 1/2 months later still no refund. Went through Resolver website to chase my £50 still nothing will continue to escalate this until I get my hard earned money back in my account. All I can assume is that the company is going into Administration what other reasons fit for not paying the money via BACS straight away?????

Used our voucer to book a hotel including an evening meal, wanted to treat my parents as well so booked them directly. The cost for my parents on the same DB&B package was 60% of the value of the red letter day! Unfortunately I had to cancel the trip with two weeks notice. Both the Mercure Hotel Burton upon Trent and Red Letter days refused to redeem the red letter booking. I am now feeling very guilty about wasting a hard earnt gift from my family. Shame on you red letter days ................................ be warned don't use them

Absolutely horrible experience, have been trying to extend my voucher and so far is taking 2 days for them to sort it out. Again someone said they will call me today and no one did!!!!!!!!!!!

Just DON'T use them. Far too much hassle. Don't answer the phone or respond to e mails. Book Direct. I finally dealt with Champneys direct and they were charming and helpful.

I had been given a gift of afternoon tea for two in a well sought of Hotel. Sadly the food was not so exciting and the place we were told to sit at was dark and dingy.
