I ordered a product, and paid the premium for a next day delivery, (the order was placd before the next day delivery cut-off) This is a gift for a client, So I was incredibly disappointed when the next day delivery service, turned out to be three days later. I hope my client enjoys his day out, But Red Letter Days have now been black listed and will not be used again.

Customer service was brilliant, my wife and I had to call twice within 30 minutes. I was gifted a Red letter day card with a value of £100. In order to redeem this card it took us over two (2) hours from start to finish. I scratch off the rear authorization code, This is where the fun FRUSTRATION starts.............. we opened up the page and it asked us to enter the security code, well there is nor security code, then we decided to enter the authorization code, NO this wasn’t right, there is another longer number which we tried, NO this wasn’t right. Both of us started to read through the ‘simple guide’, No we then reverted to call the telephone number, after several pushes of different digits my wife gets connected to a very helpful young lady. She asked us if there were hyphens in the security number, my wife said There is no security number, but there is an authorization number, the young lady said SORRY, the authorization number is the security number but DON’T enter the hyphens. This we did and success.........or though we thought.......... we then tried to redeem for a meal which then told us we had EXCHANGED the voucher. We had to call the telephone number again, a different young lady answered and again very helpful. She said after our first entry we should have been sent an email, Well we had but this was sent into our spam emails which couldn’t be altered in anyway as it was classified as spam, Further emails were sent by redletterday which were successful. Still no booking made as we now have to contact the said restaurant we want to eat at, this was now being completed, but NO red letter day say this was NOT successful try again, then I get an email from the said restaurant saying Thank you for booking a table. Never again, Customer service excellent but the procedure was diabolical. Mick

bought voucher for spa day bannatyne darlington what a performance not straight forward had to sort it out on the phone and that was tiresome any other voucher is accepted

As bookings are made through the supplier directly, we unfortunately do not have any insight into their booking websites however are more than happy to assist with any bookings in these instances. The experience was a three course meal for two we booked Bella Italia ordered the meal which was very nice and asked for the bill for the extras which was tea and coffee we were presented with a bill for £70.00 with a discount of 17.00 taken off where would you get a three course meal with a glass of wine for two for 17.00 I gave the restaurant all the voucher information and after explaining to the manager he let us go with out charge but this caused a lot of embarrassment which spoiled the occasion. I complained to Red Letter days and received no response.

I booked using a voucher given to me then wrote down the booking reference email. This was not what the restaurant wanted when I attended they wanted the activation code. I have sent them the voucher reference hopefully they can sort it from that.....its not an easy system to use and did not explain what would be required clearly.

Don't bother paying for the Premium Gift Box - they send it in the Standard Envelope (Free) anyway. If the gift is delivered directly to the recipient, the person purchasing the gift would probably never realise that they have been charged for goods that were never delivered.

Do not use it!! Strangling to redeem voucher for restaurant due to all the time restaurant have some restrictions. What's more there are no any info about restrictions on the Web. I am sick of it. DO NOT USE THIS REDLETTERDAYS.CO.UK VOUCHER SERVICE

Your website allowed me to purchase a voucher for an activity that didn’t actually exist at the venue you had listed. Full refund requested and given but 1 very disappointed little boy!

Beware of this scam company. Beginning with the nightmare of wasting all the time trying to redeem the voucher which would not work, hoping that you give up and don't use it in the end. Terrible customer service. Oh and because I have cash credit (my damn money that was paid in to their accounts before) I cannot use their black friday 25% off discounts and had to pay full price. This is how this scam company treats their returning customers. Never again.

My partner and I were very disappointed that the occasion we bought was not even available when we got there. We contacted customer service but have never had a response. We understood the company was in administration. We have never got our money back. In answer to the questions below: no response,at all and no money refunded.

The deal was for 2 cinema tickets and 1 large popcorn for £25 at a Vue Cinema. However it was dearer than a standard purchase of £4.99 each per ticket and £6 for the popcorn. Thankfully I had a code to reduce the cost,but be aware for any future offers.

I try to redeem a voucher and the restaurant won't provide the service. Then RLD just provide me add £20 to extend and add money to exchange but refund my money, Groupon will refund when the restaurant won't provide service!!! Even I add money exchange another deal but still need to add £20 to extend it. The gift of afternoon tea was exchanged for an extra fee for a lunch in London in July. The providing hotel refused to honour the voucher and my booking because allegedly there was no chef. I travelled 60 miles for this special event with a friend to be turned away. I had no response from Redletterdays customer services. My local Citizens Advice bureau explained that Redletterdays has been in liquidation since May 2019 yet it's still trading. No response to a further letter to Redletterdays liquidator/customer services. The gift giver and myself have both lost money including travelling expenses. Definitely would not recommend this company.

We had a gift for a cream tea at a hotel in London. We requested to change it to a lunch as I am gluten free. A fee of an additional £25 (our voucher was for £25) was requested. We paid and booked for the £50 lunch. When we got to the hotel they clearly knew nothing about red letter days and had noone there to make lunch. They kindly provided us with a snack. We wasted a whole day with additional costs of train fares of £34. The company does not respond to online complaints and is in fact in LIQUIDATION! Do not use this company.

Avoid using red letter days for track day experiences. It was bought as a gift for me knowing that there is tracks close by that were included but when I went to book I was told that the nearest track was Loughborough (3 hour drive from me). Even worse they have loads of hidden extra charges for things that should be included in the package like insurance for the cars and paying extra for cars that were supposed to be included. We weren’t able to attend today due to unforeseen circumstances and the office said that you can’t rebook and all of the money my friends and family spent on it including my own money to pay for the hidden charges have now been lost. Disappointed isn’t the word.
