I paid my money and didn’t receive the voucher. Received an automated email from customer service saying response would be delayed due to covid. Still heard nothing to date.

I bought a voucher that I wanted to send to my son on his Wedding Anniversary. Unfortunately my home address was entered on the delivery. I wanted to change it to my son's address but could not do so. I e-mailed and was told they would answer within SEVEN DAYS. No use at all - my son's anniversary was in three days time. It cost me £6-85p to re-send the letter by special delivery to ensure my son received it in time. SERIOUSLY BAD SYSTEM!!!!!

We had the viewing then after we went to the fox club for afternoon tea at 4pm and they were closed but yet it says closing time on the internet is 7pm. so we literally paid £79 for viewing.

We had a dreadful experience with Red Letter Days. We purchased a voucher for the Lea Valley Whitewater centre. Red Letter Days took our money immediatately. In return they sent us a very vague code and told us to book through the centre itself. We tried to book on line but the code given by Red Letter Days did not work. It has been impossible to contact the centre itself and Red Letter Days do not answer their calls either. We've been trying to contact them for three days now. They should issue codes that work on line, especially in the current circumstances. They should also be contactable so we can sort these things out. I am finding many companies are now using lockdown restrictions as an excuse for lack of service, shoddy service or no service at all. They are quick enough to take my money but not so quick or even available to resolve problems.

The item I ordered was for a birthday present. I only asked for an e voucher I didn’t even ask for you to post anything to me and the e voucher hasn’t been received meaning it can’t even be passed on to who the present was for. It’s ruined the whole experience for me because I cannot pass the present on in a timely manner. I am very disappointed with the service and given the item was nearly £200 I would have expected you to be able to send the e voucher to me. I have also contacted you twice since the order to try and prompt the e voucher being sent to me and this still hasn’t been sent. Realistically I think given the fact that Red Letter days has messed up on this occasion I think they should be doing something to put this right

My husband got a red letter day gift for a 4 by 4 experience in Dorset which he was excited about. When covid hit it was obvious that he couldn't use the voucher but it was open for a year so when restrictions were lifted he booked the experience with the company red letter day use. He got confirmation and details of the date and time via email One week prior to the day he got an email reminding him that he had an experience booked and it reminded him of the day and time. We travelled to Dorset and after the 2 hour drive we got to the farm to find it deserted......we eventually found someone on the farm who said that the company had ceased trading a long time ago and several people had turned up over the last month the same as us i was mortified, if this was the case why were we not contacted to say this, why did they send an email reminder a week prior and why can you still book this place via their website! interestingly the email also stated that we had to give 2 weeks notice to cancel or we lost our money I would NEVER use red letter days again because of this experience, i know covid hit some retailers but there should be a system to contact those who booked experiences that cant run and refund issued This was a birthday gift....so if you are expecting a good day and a great surprise be warned of our experience

Had one as a gift for 40th wedding anniversary for a dining delights meal have tried 3venues in East Sussex and all not accepting voucher but clearly advertised as available on red letter website , I have informed them several times and still not updated website so my advice is buy a voucher directly at chosen venue if possible also much better value .

I purchased a RLD wing-walking experience in Cirencester for my husband in June 2019 for approx £380 (a reduction of about £70 in the sales that RLD were offering at the time). This was extended in June 2020 (due to covid), until Feb 2021 (don't know why it wasn't extended for the whole 12 months, particularly considering we're in the middle of a global pandemic). We tried to book and the online system wouldn't allow us to book. We also tried to extend the ticket again online system but it wouldn't allow us to, so I contacted them by phone and no one seems to answer. I also contacted them by email, and a Lucy Oxley responded to say that they no longer provide the wing-walking experiences, but they can provide an exchange. My husband have wanted to do wing-walking for a very long time, as he used to parachute out of planes. He's not interested in any other experiences, so we aren't interested in anything else. Plus, when I checked on the RLD website, they do still have the wing-walking experiences, but charged at the higher rate of £459. I wouldn't have booked the wing-walking experience, if I'd known that it was going to be this difficult to book. RLD have already been provided will the booking confirmation evidence, the voucher and security number codes, so it really shouldn't be this difficult to book this expensive experience in. We wouldn't recommend booking through RLD, as there's no response to phone calls, and our experience demonstrates that the customer service has not been honest about the experiences that are available. There are plenty of other vendors, plus you can cut out the middle-man, and book direct (which is what we'll be doing in the future).

I have still not received my red letter, I think there should be a quicker or better delivery system in place. I have now missed the day for a 40th present.

The voucher didn't cover the cost of the meal it said it would. There was no small print to indicate this would happen, and they refused a refund or to cover the difference on the basis that if I chose something that I didn't want it would cover the price of it. If they had said the voucher will only cover the amount at the vendor that you paid for the voucher I wouldn't have bought it.
