Once again prices have gone up. Incorrect details which put up premium further,despite declaring the correct details. I will be looking online next year to compare prices.

I was disappointed that I had to contact RIAS to renew,I was told a letter had been sent but I never got anything from you.I was asked about car insurance which made me annoyed I had car insurance with you for many years when I got the last renewal you had increased the cost by over £100 so I went to saga and got it cheaper than the year before.So being a long standing customer in my case 23 years counts for nothing.

I've insured two cars as well as my house buildings and contents with RIAS for five years or more I believe. I've stuck with them in spite of the fact that at each renewal the premium requested is invariably a lot more than the previous year and we've never made a claim. I find it tedious to have to trawl comparison sites before phoning RIAS and threatening to go elsewhere before obtaining a reasonable renewal price as I prefer to stay loyal to the company in the probably mistaken idea that I will be fairly treated in the event of a claim. In addition RIAS only offer a 0345 telephone number for renewals costing me even more. However they quote free 0800 numbers for new business if you want one of their other insurance products. This year they requested 11% more for my wife's car. 59% more for our home insurance and 32% more for my car insurance which I have yet to challenge!

The initial conversation was ok, but we have received two letters telling us we did not have insurance with you, Six confirmation of the insurance policy?? What a waste of time and paper. I rang you again to get confirmation that we were ok with the car policies, but this should have been totally unnecessary. It does not instill confidence in the company, whom we have our household insurance as well.

I was very disappointed with the increase in my premium this year, I feel that I was penalised for the incident on the 25th. August when I was the innocent victim of a rear shunt accident. Although the operator made a reduction on the premium I still feel that the increase is excessive. I am looking at other insurance companies in order to get a more competative insurance

As I have just taken over the policy from my husband who, died last year, I was shocked that the cost was increased so much. I have been the named driver on this policy for more than 50 years and regular drove the car over those years. I appreciate that I have not been the policyholder before but feel that the 9 year no claims bonus should apply to me as well as my husband.

I have tried without success to contact you by phone and failed In "Statement of insurance " Question No.2d.......Do you own or have access to any other vehicle" You have typed in ...."Yes"" I request a telephone conversation from your office to clarify this statement

I renewed. My home / contents and car insurance over 2 weeks ago I still have not received confirmation documents When will I get them . Please advise . Normally your response is good

I was sent my renewal for my insurance for £303.00. So as I always do I did a compare the market type search. It came up with a quote of £270.03. The quote was again with RIAS. So I want to know why a renewal costs more than a normal compare the market quote. I think it is very poor service for your repeat loyal customers.

I usually receive my insurance renewal reminder and premium and how much it is, for my car, at least two to three weeks before it's due, so I can either look elsewhere or go with it, to get a competitive quotation. This year i had to contact RIAS,to find out, this isn't good enough.

The dealings with RIAS on the phone were fine. The person explained everything very clearly and without pressure. A problem occurred however when I tried to register my account online. I failed several times and had to call RIAS twice and send numerous emails to resolve the problem. I'm happy to say that all is fine now.
