“I purchased a pair of men’s Rieker shoes one month ago. The synthetic uppers material has cracked already after very little wear. Customer services don’t want to know unless shoes are bought from Rieker directly. Avoid Rieker as in my opinion they are poor quality products and a waste of money.”

“Alway buy leather boots and shoes. Rieker are the only one's that let in water apart from rieker tex which are good if u can get them. Very disappointed in my other purchases. They all look waterproof but they are not. Won't be buying again.”

“Hi Ordered 2 pair of Rieker sandles via Rieker-Australia online early August 2021. No product arrived - payment was taken. Forgot about a Contact Number or direct email. Used on line email within the order section. Quoted Order Number again supplied my email & Mobile number. Order status still pending. Just over it learned my lesson never use this company again. Zero Customer service or care. Carol”

“Less than a year old and my lovely Reiker patent ankle boots, are letting in water... Not deep grass or puddles but came home both my feet are soaked. £90+ for these and not even getting 12mths out of them. My first and final purchase from Germany, thinking i was being smart doing that! Fed up.”

“Purchased rieker sandals from a store in Abu Dhabi. They felt so nice at first, and were comfortable for a few days. About 2 weeks later, they’re giving me a lot of pain, they look very worn down. Not what I expected from a company with a long history. Will think twice about purchasing from companies who have a good history, perhaps some of the newer companies deserve a try.”

“Never buying Reikers again. Been happy past years with quality with shoes bought in Germany but last pairs bought in New Zealand and Ireland made with syntheic look like leather material . Reikers are expensive shoes in New Zealand not not value for your money.”

“Bought ankle boots when on holiday in Cornwall. I did not use then for about three months. Day two I was walking in a shower if rain for a few minutes to get to my car. The boots were letting in. No holes but the water ran down the tops and into the sole where top and sole met. A few weeks later the leather upper began to separate around the toe cap. The leather upper is so flimsy and unsuitabe for purpose. Very poor workmanship. Very poor quality. Very poor design for use. I phoned Reiker customer service who were short with me and said they were not liable and I should contact the shop where I bought them. Due to government imposed restrictions i could not contact the shop. Back to Reiker and they still did not want to know @FAULTY FOOTWEAR @COULDNT CARE LESS FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS @I WON'T EVER PURCHASE THIS BRAND AGAIN. &I HAVE BEEN VERY ACTIVE IN TELLING PEOPLE WHAT CHEAPNESS IS BEHIND THE BRAND AND @THE COULDNT CARE LESS ATTITUDE OF THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE”

“Most comfortable boots I ever owned, however a month in the sole was disintegrating and a massive section of stitching had undone so returned. So dissapointed.”

“I have purchased 4 pairs of Rieker boots . I have a problem with one of the pairs leaking even when walking through short grass. I sent Rieker and email and received the auto response Insently confirming they have received my email . That was 6 weeks ago and crickets !! No one has reached out. Very disappointed in their non existent follow up . Thumbs down”

“I purchased a pair of Rieker boots just over a year ago. The size was 44 in an extra wide fit (G and a half). The sole on one boot split right across the from side to side. As you can appreciate boots or shoes in this width are not easily available. I have been told by Rieker that the fault was in manufacturing. Since the date of purchase the price of a replacement Rieker boot has increase substantially. Rieker customer service have refused to give any concession on the price of any replacement. This is without doubt very poor customer service as good will is not in the frame. If I could give a no star rating I would. I have photos of the boots which Rieker have received by email and I have spoken to customer service on the phone.”

“My son bought me boots for Christmas and they were to big , my husband recycled the return label and i had the hardest time getting someone from rieker to return my call. Finally after two weeks of calling i get my label and return my boots wait another two weeks and i have to get a hold of them again just to be told they look like i wore them . If theming them on and walk around my living room once is wearing them i guess they dont sell the shoes you try on in the store because someone wore them.”

“I bought a very cute pair of Reiker boots. The colored layer at the toe started coming off almost immediately through normal wear. I was disappointed but continued to wear them. The leather started detaching from the soles in two places. I wanted to have them repaired but there wasn't enough leather to reattach as they were so cheaply made. They were definitely not cheaply priced. Don't be fooled by Reiker.”

“My son bought me boots for Christmas and they don’t fit my husband threw return label in the recycle and I’ve been trying to get someone to send me a new label. I’ve contacted the store 4 time and twice on line still no one has returned my call😡. I think they are waiting till my time is up. DO NOT BUY ONLINE”

“WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I ordered 2 pairs of boots from the website on Nov 27, 2020. Only received one pair! Left numerous voicemails and emails. It is now Jan 3, 2020 and have not received a call back or email back.”

“I have 3 pairs of reiker boots. One pair are very uncomfortable they give my feet shocks. The other two pair are comfortable but have cracked completely across the sole. My feet are soaked outdoors. Never again.”

“After only one season my boots started to completely deteriorate. Although they are beautiful, they are too expensive to only get one season out of them. So sadly disappointing.”

“I bought these boots the winter before last and wore them intermittently for a max of 3 months. I wrote to Rieker last winter as on one boot the leather had peeled. Obviously a manufacturing fault. Their response was to tell me to take them back to the shop I’d bought them in and I had no idea. I have bought over 10 pairs of Rieker in the last 4 years. But no more. If the manufacturer won’t take responsibility for a fault, I am not going to spend more money on their product.”

“Bought a pair of loafers three weeks ago. They have really hurt both little toes (never had this problem with other shoes before). Also the patent has split... after only a few wears! Very disappointed as they cost £55.”
