“Have ordered some lovely items on this website. I find however that the quality varies and have returned some items due to the thinness of the fabric. Very happy with the ones I kept though.”

“I like the clothes and have ordered several times,my problem is the am.ount of plastic used,I ordered ljeggings they were in 3 huge plastic bags,this is not acceptable and totally unnecessary ,ro.man need to rethink their packaging, might stop me ordering from them again”

“Not really happy with customer service at present. My reasons for this have emailed them 3 times this week asking why they have over charged me an extra £3 on return postage. As on the invoice they sent me clearly states 2 options 1 being Track 48 charge of £3 to send back or option 2 pay your own postage. Which I did £3.69 . Expecting a full refund which clearly didn't happen leaving me £3 short of the original price paid for the dress! So now paid double the price of postage £6.69 instead of £3.69 ! For a repitical company of ROMAN don't think much of customer services over charging for refunds & no explanation as to why they have done this on return polices! Have no over complaints other than this!”

“Need to return a dress but reading these reviews wondering if I will get my money back. Just shows people should support their local shops instead of buying online - never fits, queue at post office to return and possibility you won't get a refund. Demise of the high street due to online shopping - what a shambles.”

“I have bought a lot of clothing from Roman and have not been disappointed by the quality and designs however , the delivery and availability is the issue I have. Rarely does anything arrive within the time stated as expected , I don't like waiting for over.a week .sometime close to 2 weeks . Availability issue - select size , says its in stock , order and pay , and get an email message to say its out of stock, do I want an email when it's back in stock , no I don't when its paid for and there are no guarantees of when it is back In stock. I did agree to this option once but waited months never got it so had to pursue the refund , if I hadn't called wonder if I would have ever had received the email. Out of curiosity I tried to order the item whilst I was waiting for stock and it still let me order despite customer services saying it was out of stock. I am writing the review today whilst waiting for latest order placed on Monday its now Saturday and no sign of or info on tracking. Shame as it is putting me off and is certainly not somewhere you would order from if you want to shop for a short notice occasion. If you don't mind waiting and don't need to return, I would give a much better review.”

“Think they might have turned the corner! I have been a customer for years with no complaints whatsoever until recently. I had been waiting nearly a month for two refunds but both have been processed this week. Do hope Romans are back on track because I would hate to lose them!!”

“Hi all, I wrote a review yesterday as I too like lots of you was frustrated with trying to contact the company about an overdue refund, Itook someone's advice and went to Roman's Facebook page and messaged them with my order reference and Thankfully I was contacted and received my refund within 12hrs .”

“Bought a skirt online n the 22nd of april too big so returned on the 26 th April. Cannot get hold of anyone as they say they are having problems with their phone provider. They ask you to fill in a form and they will get back to you. I have repeatly filled out the form sometimes they get back to you but mostly they don't.When they do get back to you they just ask for the same information time and time again. What a rubbish company will NEVER buy from them again. 3 weeks later and I am still waiting for my refund”

“I bought 6 pairs of their cropped trousers as the are comfortable, stylish and versatile. I did this based on a black pair I bought previously. Unfortunately the lovely colours I chose fade after just one wash. So disappointed”

“They need some new designers. Too much animal print and ditsy floral shapeless dresses. They`ve been done to death. Please bring out some new designs and fabrics. Too much cheap stretchy fabric, dull colours and animal prints/ditsy prints.”
